We have stayed at this hotel a number of times and is always great. The room we had was very quiet and the bed quite comfortable. The hotel was fully booked but you would never know that by how quiet it was. The restaurant staff were very friendly and the food came out of the kitchen very quickly even though the restaurant was about 75% full. I would highly recommend this hotel especially if you are travelling to/from Newfoundland and need a place that is convenient to stay.

The location was excellent, easy on and off the Trans-Canadian Highway, and I have no complaints. However, the room was chilly, hard pillows and not warm blankets, and while there was conditioner and lotion, there was no shampoo in the room. Breakfast in the hotel dining room was good, sunny with a good view of the ferry.

Everyone on the hotel staff was extremely friendly, with the lady in the restaurant being the best, like always. I made a point of telling the front desk in the morning then I went to leave and there was a note on my windshield saying my front left tire looked low on air with a smiley face. I really enjoy nice people.

We stayed for one night after arriving late in the day on the ferry. The staff were friendly and efficient, and our room was large, bright and comfortable. The restaurant has a nicely varied, reasonably priced menu, hospitable service staff, and great views of the sea.
