Nice property with close access to everything you need. Room for kids to play in the room. Ability to cook breakfasts and dinners appreciated. Would book again.
Great location at Big Sky Resort. Easy to get in and out to the lifts. Elevator was pretty quick. Access to the hot tub and heated pool was nice after a long day of skiing. Condo is definitely aged but pretty comfortable and has everything you need - including a humidifier to help w/ the dry air.

Perfect stay for a young family while seeing sights in the area, after getting past an initial frustrating process of getting into our rental unit. Since we arrived
on a Saturday, StayMontana management was only available via text message, and I was initially concerned they would not respond back to questions. Thankfully they did. Bozeman and Yellowstone were one hour drive away. Nice, outdoor pool was heated, so it was comfortable to swim even on cool evenings. Kitchen was well-stocked. All the beds were very comfortable. The only major dislike, aside from feeling a bit stranded when it took us 40 minutes just to unlock our rental unit, was the surprise that NO laundry facilities are available for use in Big Sky. The resort has laundry machines, but they are not available for use unless you book directly through the resort, not a third party, like VRBO. This should be clearly called out in the listing, not just after booking has been made. Nearest laundromat is an hour away, in Bozeman. Also, if you have to prepare a lot of meals during your stay, bring groceries or buy them in Bozeman. They are considerably less expensive than purchasing at the resort or at the single full-size grocery store in Big Sky. All in all, we had a lovely stay once we got past the initial hiccups. We would definitely return for a future stay.
This condo was perfect for our family of 5. Kids loved the Murphy and fold out bed, I loved that they had their own bathroom. The condo was in a perfect location, so close to everything. It was clean, had everything we needed and we had a great time!
Great location at the base of the mountain with indoor ski storage, indoor outdoor pool and space for the 5 of us to have plenty of room! Wish they were a bit more generous on the amenities like Kleenex and toilet paper, but otherwise nice place
The resort was nice. The pool was very warm and pleasant.
The furnishings in the unit were not very comfortable to relax in. And some dishes were dirty in the cabinet.
Overall, it was a good place to stay.
Property was was what expected since I have stayed here before. Was a little disappointed no coffee in the unit, no lotion or anything else that you would expect for the price paid. Also, when I stayed here in the past, breakfast was included at the Huntley in which case it wasn't here. disappointed in the hot tub since the Jets weren't working.which was very disappointing after a day of skiing.

Property was not available upon arrival
We have stayed at this location in different units with other property management companies, and it was a fabulous experience. We traveled seven hours only to arrive and find out the unit was not available. The management company did offer to put us up in another location in Big Sky, but my pre-teen children were staying in the Huntley Lodge, which shares a lobby with the condo building we had rented, so being offsite was not an option. Fortunately the Huntley Lodge (not the management company we boked through), was able to find us a hotel room. It wasn't equivalent to the one bedroom condo we had planned on, but at least it was onsite. Showing up to a vacation rental after a day of traveling and having it not be available is unacceptable. As much as I do appreciate the management company scrambling to try and find us an alternative, the alternative they did find was not something I would have rented (at any price) had I known the property we originally rented was not available. To add insult to injury, the management company indicated that the building was not available for occupancy, yet friends who were traveling with us, rented in the same building and were able to stay in the unit they rented for the same time period we had reserved. I know this because we spent being entertained by them in their unit! I do appreciate our reservation was fully refunded, right away (as it should have been).

We had a great week at Big Sky and the Shoshone Unit was very nice and close to the slopes. It was great having the kitchen and we are thinking of coming over the Summer.

Stay Montana outstanding
Our stay at Shoshone condo was very nice. The service from stay Montana was the very best we have experienced. We noticed a few connivence items (hot mitts, tongs) were not in the condo. A quick text to stay Montana asking if it would be possible to get them and BAM, they were delivered within an hour! We have never received this level of service from any other company at Big Sky. If you want to deal with a responsive company choose Stay Montana.
Overall a very nice room, great location and friendly/helpful staff. However, the kitchen needed a few items to bring it up to a level when compared to other places we have stayed. Basic staples needs which are inexpensive to provide when compared to the cost of the unit - Spices, containers, dish towels - simple items.

The beds were comfy, the kitchen was updated, the appliances were new. I liked having two bathrooms, being close to the elevator, and we had nice views from the windows.
It was super easy to rent and communicate with Stay Montana host. Check and in and Check out was smooth. The location was perfect as it was a short/easy walk to the lifts. There was a ski rental shop/ski storage in the building which was great. Having a 2nd bathroom made a huge difference as there were 4 of us. We paid extra to get a midweek cleaning which was supposed to take place on Wednesday but did not happen till Thursday. Overall a great stay. Will definitely stay here again.
The place was very clean and had more space than we thought it would. There was a coffee maker and filters but no coffee and I neglected to bring some but, that is on me. Not very many outlets so if you have a lot of electronics, bring a power strip. The master king bed is VERY firm, wasn't great for me but my husband didn't mind it. The Murphy bed was very comfortable according my kids. We did not use the sofa pull out bed, nor the air mattress that was available. The stove and oven worked great and freezer had plenty of ice. Great supply of towels, dishes and kitchen wear. There is some construction going on outside where they appear to be building more condos so unfortunately the view will be somewhat lost. Stay Montana made getting into the condo, checking in and checking out super easy. Staff was friendly and helpful. All in all, a great place.
We were very pleased with the location and everything about the property. The property was well maintained and like the decor. I would recommend an additional curtain in the bedroom to block-out the light at the edges of the shade since sundown isn't until late. Overall, we were very pleased and had a wonderful trip!
We've stayed at Big Sky Resort multiple times, and at the Shoshone a few times. This was our favorite unit so far because it had a bigger living space, and the windows don't stare directly into another condo or hotel. Beds were comfortable.

sheets and towels unclean, dirty dishes in cupboards, hasnt been cleaned at all. intside dodors locked and couldnt get them open. No one to come and repair or clean without constant nagging. two days later someone came. Never do an VRBO again. For this kind of price of 3200dollars for 5 nights it was a disaster and should not have been.
