"What a treat this place is. We had an amazing nights stay only sorry we didn’t book for longer. The den was beautiful well equipped. The bed was extremely comfortable and the kitchen accessories were great. The surrounding area was beautiful and meeting and feeding the alpacas was a special experience. "Superb hotel in wonderful location handy for local amenities. Did not use spa facilities which looked good. Somewhat confusing concept - hotel had lovely frontage with outdoor seating area but bars etc were closed so not able enjoy snacks, drinks etc at the front. Maybe the available facilities at the front were opened for weddings only. Although a large significant hotel the only facilities available were a small bar/restaurant a good trek away at the rear in the golf area. Outdoor seating with no views surrounded by golf buggy/trolley parking. Food was not impressive. Overall impression was that unless golfers or event guests residents were a nuisance and although claiming to be dog friendly were merely accepting of dogs with uncomfortable coffee table type areas only available for dining. Staff were polite but rarely friendly and rooms were not made up daily. Enjoy your wedding or golf here certainly but otherwise a normal passing business trade venue at its best."
