"A lovely cottage in Mahone Bay. Within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants and very close to Lunenburg, Chester and Peggies cove.We wanted to eat in some nights over our week stay. This was easily accommodated with the well equipped kitchen and easy to use BBQ outside.Very handy to have a washing machine and dryer. We definitely needed to catch up with laundry after two weeks travelling.Hosts were easy to contact, friendly and answered questions promptly."

"The room was super cute, but also very much in need of few fixes. I was unaware that you had to bring your own supplies like toilet paper. When I texted the number given should there was an issue no one got back to me. Great location, and enjoyed my time in Mahone Bay. I would stay there again, now understanding better what type of property it is."

"This is a very sweet cottagy cottage with easy access from the highway… excellent for day trips to Mahon Bay and Lunenburg… Very very close proximity to Bridgewater, which has all of your groceries and Walmart needs. We went to La Casetta in Bridgewater for dinner one night and highly recommend. It is a two bedroom with the second bedroom being bunkbeds… There is air-conditioning in the main room and so you know no air-conditioning in the bedrooms, but there are fans… The main room has a closet with hangers, the second room does not. There are plenty of drawers for storage. This is an ideal location for a very small group of friends, maybe two or three and for a young family. At the end of the road is the beach, which is just lovely. The docks and chairs are private so bring your own chairs. The cottage itself is sparkling clean. We were there for a week so used the kitchen every day. The sink is quite shallow but perfect for a cottage… Fran, your host, is excellent with communication and also responsive to anything during your stay. We were there over the August long weekend and it was quiet quiet quiet… It is a great central place and highly recommend."

"Certainly not your typical soulless empty purpose built rental. Jan & George have filled their unique little space with interesting items. We spent three nights and every day noticed something else to look at. The wildlife is incredible, hummingbirds, fish, squirrels, it’s obvious they’re very fond of the property and their humans. And the friendliest dog ever! The water was crystal clear and absolutely beautiful for swimming. If you’re looking for a unique friendly nature surrounded place to stay where you’ll be treated like family, you’ve found it."
