I traveled for my family reunion. The hotel is was great. The staff from the front desk to housekeeping was awesome, attentive, committed to servicing their customers especially Ms. Tracy F. & Reginald. I arrived early my room was ready. Five stars to them both! I needed an late check out for a flight and was accommodated. My only issue was the big cockroach that ran me back into the hotel from patio area.

Enjoyed the high-end bathroom shower and fixtures, and lighted makeup mirror by the sink. Loved the city view. The bed and bedding were very comfortable. The location was very convenient to UAB hospital where my spouse received a medical procedure. The in-house restaurant was nice, with good food and service.

Be prepared to pay $15 to park. There is a restaurant on the LL of the hotel, prices did not look that bad, however we opted to walk to a nearby restaurant because there are plenty to choose from.

We scheduled this stay for our wedding night. With there being an airport shuttle and us having an early morning flight, we thought it would be perfect. However, we were unable to sleep because we could not get the tv to turn off and it was bright all night. We called the front desk and they sent a security person up to try to unplug the tv to no avail. We were told “we will see if maintenance is still here” and they never followed up. We essentially paid $500 for an airport shuttle because we could not sleep.
