My husband and I love this cabin. This was our second vacation here. We love the location and its beautiful surroundings. We enjoy hiking the trails just outside the cabin. We feel really comfortable at this cabin. It really has everything. If you forgot something, don’t worry, they have it. The kitchen is very well stocked and we cooked a lot. The website they provide is very helpful with local restaurants, things to do. It explains everything inside the cabin and how everything works. We especially liked how everything was labeled which made it super easy. The cabin is cozy. The back patio/balcony is also incredible. And the views!! Wow! We felt completely safe here. The hosts were very kind and reached out to make sure we were happy. Very thoughtful! We will be back, again :)

Incredible stay

My wife and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary here. This place has all the amenities you could ever ask for and is clean, modern, comfortable and meticulously maintained. No stone left unturned. Great, private and convenient location in a river wilderness paradise. Unbelievable property management and house keeping. Above and beyond from all angles to exceed all expectations.

The cabin was absolutely amazing Check in went smoothly. The host was quick to respond to our needs.The kitchen was stocked with everything you may need or want. Our son loved the loft and the hot tub. The master suite was stupendous. The hosts definitely went above and beyond when designing that space.The cabin, although very isolated, was packed with so many modern amenities. The fire pit on the upper deck was, by far, our favorite spot. The sound of the stream, 24/7, was so relaxing. We loved feeding one particular bird that was there everyday and watching the chipmunks. We also had 2 elk stroll right past the deck on morning. I would highly recommend this cabin for your next getaway!

Beautiful Stay in Colorado!

We had an amazing experience at this property; great communication with the owner from start to finish. The house is beautiful and luxurious, exactly as described and pictured. It’s hard to leave the house but we enjoyed the great hiking in the area. This was our second stay at this property and we hope to return again next summer.

Great place! Would definitely recommend!

My wife and I came here on our honeymoon and had a wonderful time. Such beautiful views and the cabin had all the amenities you could ask for. Hosts were easy to get ahold of at any hour and on the last day we saw a momma moose and her baby walking along the trail right across the stream from us! Would highly recommend!

My sister & I adored this cabin! It had everything we needed--2 good tv areas for me & and good kitchen for my sister. Even more impressive were the steam shower, the heated floors, and beautiful hand crated gas fire pit on the upper deck. The cabin was spotless which is impressive given it's located in wilderness. The constant sound of the river and the occasional sound of the trains were both peaceful. I also liked watching the fly fishermen (many of whom had no clue what they were doing which amused me as a former fisherman myself). The last bit of road to the house is dirt and bumpy, so a 4WD helps. And the metal staircase going from the parking area to the entrance was difficult to navigate with luggage--the wheels get stuck in the metal grating. But the staircase will come in handy when it snows. The hosts could not have been more friendly or helpful. They replied quickly to any questions or concerns we had. My sister & I are already planning another stay at this peaceful cabin in the woods.

Neighborhood wild turkey flock that's not so wild. Don't feed them bread--they can choke.

Family time in the mountains

Slice of heaven.

This is a gorgeous property that lends itself to peace and relaxation. The site and sounds of the bordering flowing creek is the punctuation mark to the stay. The hosts are easy to communicate with and touch base at the perfect level to see if anything is needed, assuring a perfect stay.

Relaxing Getaway

Our stay in this cabin was so special. The cabin is beautiful. Very clean. Has everything you need and more. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need. We spent a lot of our time walking the beautiful trails. Views from back cabin are gorgeous especially with the relaxing sound of the creek. We came for rest and relaxing and that’s exactly what we got! Hosts were attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back again.

Perfect escape

Our 10-day getaway was made all the better as we opened the doors to this magnificent cabin. Perfect in every way, especially the sound of the mountain stream and the occasional train that passes by. Highly recommend this place for a quiet get away. Hiking trails were private and quiet—easy way to disconnect. Highly recommended!!

Serenity and snow drifts

The property is nestled in the foothills, tucked away from any noise, and just close enough to Nederland. Calm, a river, picturesque, brilliantly decorated, great hot tub, a fire pit, the stars….an absolutely perfect getaway for our family. We all want to come back tomorrow. We all highly recommend!

Wedding Wonderland

We could not have been happier with our stay. The cabin was gorgeous, the views were breathtaking, and the amenities were second to none. We didn’t want to leave!! Jed & Damaris were thoughtful and so responsive. The perfect hosts! We chose this beautiful setting to get married and celebrate our union. It was magical. We highly recommend staying at the best cabin in the mountains, overlooking South Boulder Creek.

One of the best properties we have ever stayed in! The home is beautiful, a perfect mix of rustic cabin on the outside and clean modern cabin on the inside, with wood accents mixed in.the location was incredible. Relatively easy to get to, but once you are there, it feels very secluded. Amazing views. The cabin was incredibly clean and had everything you needed and nothing you didn’t. We will be booking again for sure.

Private Oasis

If you've stopped to look at the listing, just BOOK IT, you WILL NOT regret it. This retreat is very inviting and cozy. It stimulates all of your senses to the point that you really do not need to leave the property!! Of course we did, but could not wait to get back to sit on the deck with the fire pit and listen to the water and train!! Truly an 'unplugged' experience it you want it, which we did. We will definitely be back!!

Perfect Mountain Getaway – Stunning Views & Amazing Amenities!

Our stay at this cabin was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views right out of the front windows—pictures just don’t do it justice. The location was perfect, nestled in a peaceful, private setting while still being conveniently close to both Nederland and Blackhawk. Whether we wanted to explore town or just relax in nature, it was the best of both worlds.The cabin itself was beautifully maintained and stocked with everything we needed. The amenities were top-notch, from the cozy living spaces to the well-equipped kitchen—cooking with their HexClad pans was such a fun experience! The attention to detail in the home made it feel warm and welcoming.The host was fantastic—super responsive, helpful, and truly went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. It’s rare to find a place that checks every box, but this cabin absolutely did. We can’t wait to come back!

Amazing Property- Beautiful Inside & Out

Though we had to leave early due to forecasted snowstorm, we truly enjoyed our time at this beautiful property. Everything was impeccable; it had everything necessary to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. Heated floors were a plus! The house is beautifully decorated, the modern interior paired with the touches of rustic and views of the majestic pines outside are breathtaking… Not to mention the soothing sound of the water flowing down the creek! We will definitely be back.
