There was no ironing boards in the room. The gift shop was always closed and I had to ask for it to be opened. The prices at the bar is very expensive $24.50 for a bottle of coke. I been at this resort 6 times

Beautiful grounds that are manicured daily. The view from Villa 14 was picturesque, like a Hallmark postcard! The privacy and the personal pool is major bonus. Loved how clean and simple and functional everything was in the Villa. The beach access is perfect for our small family. Kids loved the pool. We were looking forward to kayaking and unfortunately the kayaks were all broken so we could not do that. Hopefully they will fix them up or get some new kayaks ...

Adventure Farm about a ten minute drive from Black Rock is amazing for flora and fauna especially the hummingbirds! Also I very much enjoyed the Trail and Swim on horseback with the people from 'Healing with Horses' at Buccoo Bay.
