“We really enjoyed the stay. The owner, Richard was lovely and friendly. It’s an old guesthouse, but it is part of its charm, and the room was kept clean. We stayed in a twin room, we wished that there had been a bedside ramp, but it’s not the end of the world. The only thing that we will miss would be there is no fridge if we visit in warmer days. “The views are excellent- Staff very welcoming and friendly.
Rooms very comfortable but warning of some sloping ceilings!
Amenities very good - good value for money.
Breakfast very good.
Good choice menu in the evening but disappointed that apple and blackberry pie not available for 4 nights of our stay!
Dog friendly - which is great for dog owners but personally - I wasnt so happy re a couple with 2 big dogs being allowed into the dining room in the evening.”

“Great location, easy self check in. The whole place was clean and in good condition. Simple self service breakfast with good coffee.
If there was one word of warning... if you're a light sleeper bring earplugs. Someone in the next room was an impressive snorer and I didn't have any!”

“Great stay! Could t fault the accommodation at all! 5 min drive from zip world, host left some extras for us, tea coffee sugar milk bottle of bubbly and some chocolates and shortbread! Excellent touch! Some nice walks nearby weather your a novice or a professional hiker something for everyone! Will definitely stay again! I’d recommend bringing some shopping with you, as the nearest shop is around a 30 minute walk away, however if you don’t mind driving it’s only 5/10 mins down the road to the……
