Front porch sitting

The cabin is quaint and perfect for our family of 3. We absolutely loved sitting on the porch for coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. It is a great location because it is far enough for quiet, but close enough to Blue Ridge and Blairsville.

Very nice place

We loved the house, and especially the outdoor fire pit. You MUST have a 4x4 to get there. Our only issue was there was no internet or tv untill a few hrs before we left. I was not able yo check on my business because of this

Tucked Away

Right off the big highway but you’d never know it while enjoying the rockers on the front porch, picnic table or fire pit. Even the deer stroll through this peaceful area. Inside was rustic with modern accents, and furnished smartly for the space in this cottage. We enjoyed ourselves and were surprised how relaxed we could be tucked away, yet able to easily access Blairsville or Blue Ridge. We will be back!

Cozy Mountain Cabin

Our family enjoyed this North Georgia experience! The cabin is a perfect location to adventure out to so many of the nearby towns. The cabin was clean, warm and with updated furnishings. Our daughters loved the loft area and stairs. We did appreciate all the extra details such as the coat rack, all the bathroom hanging hooks, table top spaces, individual make-up wipe packs, the detachable shower-head and board games. Plus the porch is lovely, especially the table top fire pit. Our only suggest is to make your dinner reservations early. In Blue Ridge GA we had hoped to try Harvest On Main and Black Sheep Restaurant unfortunately both had no openings. Plus most of the restaurants close earlier than what we are use to. We are already considering a summer trip back to try the Helen Tubing, Cool River Adventures and the Georgia Mountain Coaster ride in Helen. Thank you for sharing the cabin, we have so many forever memories!

2 Issues only

Almost everything was great! There were two issues. The sofa is EXTREMELY uncomfortable. There is no sink in properties to it; and, the fabric is very awful to your skin. You keep sliding off of it, too. The second issue was the TV. You could not watch live TV at all. I have never been anywhere without live TV. All you could do was watch blocks of re-runs. Any movies were unauthorized. Everything else was fine. I tried for an early check-in & late check-out. Could not get ANYWHERE with the early check-in. Then, could not get a price and time for late check-out until it was too late via e-mail.

Perfect for family of 4 + Dog

We have a dock on the lake, but no home yet. This was exactly what we needed to enjoy the lake every day. This cozy cabin was the perfect spot for our long weekend getaway! We were not able to check out in time and the cleaning people were super nice and gave us a little extra time to pack up! We will be back for sure.

Cozy little cabin, love the porch and the fireplace. All of it was beautiful!

Beautiful , cozy and we celebrated our 27th anniversary , great weekend getaway. With several nearby places to visit.

Nice getaway for the weekend for our 32nd anniversary. Everything we needed!

The hill to the property is very unforgiving. Definitely need a 4x4 which we have so it wasn't an issue. Cabin was perfect for just the two of us and the rates are wonderful. The cabin was clean and we had everything we needed. Our plans were to be out and about a lot so it was perfect for what we needed.

Small cabin

The drive getting up to the cabin was gavel and steep and barely get up to it due to ruts and losing traction in our front wheel drive van. You almost needed 4 wheel drive. Had lots of rain from Tropical storm Helene and left a day early because there was a rive washing the road out. Talked to the owner Vicasso abut possibly getting credit on a return visit for the one night and they said no that we could stay or leave it was our decision! Never RENT fromVicasso again!

Charming, but lacks efficiency

Overall our stay was very nice and very clean which is most important! We didn’t understand why the Queen bed was upstairs with a half bath & the double bed was downstairs with the full bath. That is a bit cumbersome for a couple. Also, the A/C unit upstairs didn't know what temperature it wanted to be, so fear of it freezing up we decided not to use it.

Great Place for a Couple

The house is conveniently located. It's compact, perfect for somewhere to rest from adventures. Can enjoy the gas firepit on the porch or the wood burning fire pit in a secure area. The hanging solar lights are a nice touch. There is a gas station, Dollar General and Wal-Mart just up the road. I liked that we didn't have a long drive for gas, groceries, restaurants or shopping.

Too many great items to list

The property was exactly as listed! It was extremely clean as we walked in. Gas fireplace has the pilot light already lit so it was easy to start for the cool evenings. Firewood was already cut for the fire pit. There were even K-cups and bottled water there when we arrived. The covered front porch was great since it was a Misty weekend. Plenty of towels. The gas grill was almost brand new and worked perfectly! Plenty of pots and pans and long tongs for the gas grill. And the location was quiet. Even the directions were spot on saying the last little bit was a gravel road. My only negative is that I couldn’t figure out how to lock the front door from the outside. We will surely be back. 99% amazing!! Thanks, Steve
