Welcome to Highland Overlook! A beautiful and quiet mountain home with all new furnishings and long-range mountain views of 3 states! This home is the perfect getaway for couples or families. Features all new furniture and appliances, 3 large smart TVs, Pool Table, Cornhole, and games for kids. Close to Blairsville, Blue Ridge, Lake Nottely, and Murphy NC. The perfect place to relax and enjoy a peaceful getaway. This home features all-new furnishings and long-range mountain views. Enjoy the convenience of WiFi, AC, brand new washer and dryer. There are 3 spacious bedrooms with 2 King beds & 1 Queen. The large upstairs living room with vaulted wood ceiling boasts a stunning stacked stone fireplace with gas logs and the kitchen is fully equipped for family dinners. The downstairs bonus room includes a queen sleeper sofa and 75" smart TV! You can enjoy a relaxing sunset with views of 3 states on the deck with comfortable furniture and a Fire table for chilly nights. Have a fun game of Pool in the game room or cornhole on the patio while watching the big game. Whether you want to go kayaking or fishing, visit a winery or the casino, or just relax and enjoy the wildlife you will find there is lots to do in and around our mountain home!

We had amazing time! The house was absolutely beautiful with a breathtaking view. Well stocked kitchen with all your cooking needs and very clean. It was very easy to access, even in a minivan, and close enough to town to get groceries.

Perfect!

This property was absolutely perfect and felt like stepping into a brand-new home. It was spotless, beautifully maintained, and even better than the photos, especially the stunning view. We enjoyed the peaceful setting and loved the daily visits from the deer. The house had everything we needed and more. I’d only suggest that heavy coffee drinkers bring a large mug, as the ones provided were smaller.We visited the Smoky Mountains and Gatlinburg twice. Although the drive seemed long on the map, it was beautiful and easy to navigate. The road to the house is paved, curvy, and safe, but watch out for deer crossing. The neighborhood was very quiet and felt private, even with nearby homes.The layout of the house worked perfectly for our family. My teenage daughter had the whole downstairs to herself, including a living/game room, separate bedroom, bathroom, and a space with pool, board games, and ping-pong. Upstairs had two bedrooms on opposite sides, each with its own bathroom and walk-in closet, which gave everyone privacy and space.Communication with the owner was excellent. He provided detailed instructions so we knew exactly what to expect and was very responsive to any questions. We truly had a perfect week in the mountains and would definitely stay here again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Slice of Heaven

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful slice of heaven! We were 2 couples traveling to Blairsville for a wedding and decided to go the VRBO route in lieu of a hotel. The moment we arrived and opened the door, we knew we made the right choice! This beautifully decorated, well equipped home was everything we expected, and more. We will definitely book again whenever we return to the area.

Immaculate Property, Amazing View

The pictures don't do this place justice-it is absolutely gorgeous! The inside and outside of the property is meticulously maintained. You cannot beat the view! My kids really enjoyed the game room, and we loved sitting around the fire table outside together as a family. There are several deer that frequent the property and my children had a special moment with them. Mike was quick to answer any questions, and was very informative. We will definitely choose this cabin again if we return to the area.

Love the view!

We were very pleased with our stay. This Florida girl was super happy with the roads leading up to the property. The house is lovely with exceptional views, although the sun is too strong to be on the back porch during the day, this time of year, unless there is sufficient cloud cover. I bet we saw over 30 deer on a daily basis. We loved the fire pit in the evening and spent as much time as possible out there. The beds were perfect for us and bedrooms very roomy. We did have a few internet problems but Mike was very quick to respond and help work the problem out. The property is about 15 to 20 minutes from the Ingles in Blairsville. We enjoyed driving over to NC and other neighboring towns close by like Hiawasee, Young Harris and Blue Ridge. One of the highlights of the area for us was the Living Water Winery. The views there are spectacular! We took a picnic lunch and chose a Red Blend wine. We went there twice. We would love to return to this sweet home and Blairsville in the future.

Fall Getaway

Hi Mike, I wanted to share with you about our recent weekend getaway at your cabin at Highland Overlook. Our stay was absolutely lovely! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a delightful sight - six deer in the backyard enjoying their dinner. The view from the back deck was breathtaking, especially when we gathered around the fire table in the evenings. The modern kitchen was well-equipped, and we took full advantage of it by preparing all our meals at the cabin. The game room was a hit with everyone in the family. We had a great time playing pool, ping pong, and corn hole together. It was a blast! While we had an amazing time overall, I must admit that the bedding was a bit of a letdown. The mattresses were uncomfortable, and the sheets felt rough. Despite this, we would definitely go back in a heartbeat. I highly recommend this place for your family events. Overall, it was a memorable experience that provided the perfect backdrop for creating lasting memories. Take care, Don [Your Name]
