How do you like your mountain views? In the morning with a piping hot cup of coffee or hot chocolate. Enjoying a picnic lunch. Curling up in the afternoon with your favorite book. Or on a cool evening in the hot tub. Any or all of these are available from the gorgeous covered upper deck. This cozy mountain cottage located high on Ivy Log Mountain truly feels like it's miles from civilization, yet you're only minutes away from Blairsville town center. Downtown Blue Ridge is just 20 minutes away. You can be in Ellijay, Hiawasee, or Murphy N.C. in less than 45 minutes. And Dahlonaga and Helen are just an hour away.
When you first enter this cozy mountain cottage, you'll gaze upon the beautiful floor to ceiling stone fireplace, the hardwood floors and vaulted ceilings. The kitchen comes with granite counter tops, refrigerator, microwave, electric stove, coffee pot, toaster oven and all the dishes , pots and pans and utensils you'll need for your stay. Just bring the food you love to eat. Master bedroom with its floor to ceiling tongue and groove woodwork is a restful oasis after a long day of hiking, antiquing or shopping. The main level bathroom has a jetted jacuzzi tub. The loft area has a cozy sleeping area and a full bathroom with a glass and tile shower. The terrace level has an amazing regulation size slate pool table, bonus TV room and laundry with washer and dryer.
Away from the cottage there are hundreds of miles of hiking trails and recreational lakes for boating and kayaking. Meeks Park is Blairsville's hidden treasure. Vogel state park is a short distance away as well as golfing and pickle ball. Antiquing, shopping and restaurants abound. The Sorghum Festival is in October in Meeks Park as well as fall festivals in Ellijay, Dahlonaga, Helen, Blue Ridge , Suches and many others.. Exterior camera located on soffit near front door.

Fantastic views from a wonderful mountain cabin. We enjoyed soaking in the hot tub while looking at the mountains. Cabin was clean, comfortable and easy to load/unload from the front door. Perfect fall getaway.

Hot tub was perfect, loved the small kitchen with all needed items needed to cook meals saving us money going out all the time. Downstairs was near with books, games, puzzles and a pool table! Nice big washer and dryer. The most wonderful view too! Missing it already.

Everything was super clean and just as the pictures they have in the listing…except the view…it was way better than the pictures they have. The hot tub was clean and they provide different towels just for the hot tub so you don’t have to use your bath towels. Bed was comfortable no need in a chiropractor visit afterwards. Super quiet and relaxing just what we needed on our anniversary.

The cottage was awesome & very clean. The view from the deck is beautiful. We knew we would be early for the fall colors but the views are still incredible. The beds are very comfy; the hot tub is a nice bonus after a day hiking to falls. Glad we had the pickup for the steep climb up the mountain.

The home has been decorated to create a warm and welcoming feel as soon as you enter. The kitchen is well stocked for your cooking needs. Loved the clean and hot hot-tub. Beautiful, peaceful location! My mother and I enjoyed this place so much that we only left the house once to go into town for 4th of July fireworks. It was breezy and cool up on the mountain, a refreshing break from the summer heat. We spent most of our time sitting outside on the deck, enjoying the incredible view. Hot tub was also very relaxing. Kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed. Hosts were very responsive. I accidentally pushed buttons on the control panel and changed the hot tub settings, and the friendly host came out promptly to take care of it even though this interrupted their holiday.

Quiet and peaceful

My wife and I wanted a short getaway where we could just relax and do as little or as much as we wanted. This was the ideal place. Only a few minutes from town but fairly secluded; the last rental on a "no outlet" road (except for one more private cabin). The hosts were very responsive and helpful.

Cottage/Cabin with a beautiful mountain view

We enjoyed our stay very much. The cabin was very clean and cozy. It was nice to be able to do laundry as well. We didnt use the pool table or loft area, the porch with the view was the best part. Would love to visit again.

Peaceful and secluded

Beautiful property. Peaceful and private. The view is better in person. Cottage was clean and everything worked properly. Park out front. Don't be a dummy like me and brave the driveway before reading the house rules. (My truck got out fine, but cars will have a rough go). I only have two warnings. The road is a little intimidating, but you can make it. My wife's Flex got there without any problem. Just make sure you don't miss the road. The tub on the main floor is confusing. You'll figure it if you mess with it for a couple minutes. Really enjoyed the week. We will definitely stay again!

Beautiful mountain cottage getaway

A beautiful cottage with an incredible view of the mountains, nestled in a wooded mountainside. I had just what I needed....an outdoor jacuzzi, indoor gas fireplace, comfortable bed, kitchen to make my meals, privacy and quiet in nature. The perfect getaway to hike nearby waterfall trails and decompress. The fireplace was not working st first but John fixed it so I could have a night sipping some tea in front of the fire before I left. I highly recommend.
