“This location is perfect! It puts you right in the heart of Historic Savannah. There are restaurants and a coffee shop a few steps away. The free trolley stops half a block away. Shopping on Broughton is only a few blocks and you are right across the street from Chippewa Square. This is a great place for a couple or family with 2 kids and you do not need a car. ”

We parked and walked everywhere. The unit is very clean, well stocked and beds are comfortable. As noted in the rental description, the stairs inside are a bit steep. “We really enjoyed our stay. The place was very clean, good closet space, easy to use galley kitchen and lovely preserved floors and fireplaces. We would have liked to know more about the building’s history. We do recommend adding benches at the doors for taking off shoes and bringing slippers for the cold floors if traveling in the winter. The walkability of the location is great but that comes with a busy but beautiful street and, yes, a firehouse across the street. The lights and sirens filled……

“The host was great and answered questions. The property was wonderful and what it was described to be. The only complaint that I have is the parking situation for this property. In the listing for the property list nothing about parking. Parking is street only, and is basically first come first serve. There were days that I was not able to get a parking spot for several hours due to the street being full on both sides. This should be included in the listing for the property.”
