First, we enjoyed our stay. The location was fantastic. The apartment itself has tremendous potential, but it could be so much more. I am rarely one to complain, but the baseboards and areas around the toilet looked liked they had not been cleaned in quite sometime. The pillows on the bed left much to be desired. They were flat as a pancake. These are very easy fixes. The tile in the kitchen needed at least a good sweeping/ckeaning and it was cracked in several places. Almost all of the furniture and the track lighting was old and out of date and had a jumbled flea market/yard sale feel and not in a good way. Please provide clearer instructions on how the key pad to open the interior apartment door works. We spent a good bit of time outside on the landing before we figured out that you needed to press the “house” button first before inputting the code. Again, this is a very simple fix that could avoid frustration for your guests. You have a gem here, being just half a block off the town square. But it needs some upgrading and TLC. Given the insane amount of new housing available in Bloomington, even a slight investment in mostly cosmetic items will likely allow you to increase your asking price and more importantly, improve the quality of your guests’ stay.
