Blowhole Point

Hotel overall looks outdated. Does nor seem like a 5 star hotel

Had to pay extra merchant fees, additional to Expedia fees and not disclosed while booking. Elevators were down and had to walk 14 flights of stairs everyday to get to our room with luggage and a baby. No offer to help and no notice about this.

Every part of our stay at the York was excellent. From the moment we arrived at reception how helpful the staff were to the huge room (it is not 5 star snazzy but has absolute everything you could want at an unbeatable price tag) to the lovely inviting resort-style facilities (gym, big outdoor heated pool, large hot spa & sauna). The location is fantastic, right next to Wynyard station, a quick walk down to Barangaroo for brekkie (although the hotel also offers buffet breakfast at $38 pp). We also had a beautiful view from our 19th floor balcony.
