Ideal location but lacks cleanliness & maintenance

Great location & size of apartment but extremely disappointed with the lack of cleanliness & up keeping of the property.Arrived to a foul fishy smell inside apartment to find the smell was coming from wet patches on the indoor rugs. Had to put rugs outside & smell took a good couple of days to dissipate. One of the bathrooms vanity tops was unclean & shower tap kept falling off. fridge & inside of a couple of kitchen cupboards were dirty. No dish washing tablets for dishwasher. Apartment also had cockroaches & silverfish running around.Outdoor hose had no tap connection & outdoor furniture dirty & unusable. Had our dog with us & side gate was broken. We were asked to put bins out but they were not emptied by garbage truck. Noisy building works going on next door to property.Would not stay there again.

Great location shame about the bathrooms

The location was great, could walk to the beach but on arrival house was not cleaned, so not a great start. Then found side gate was broken and off the hinges after the dog took himself for a walk. Then found the kitchen tap broken, shower tap missing a part and flyscreen door broken. The cleaners did a very average job and left sand everywhere so we had to clean ourselves and no bath mats or shower gels were provided. Finally the bathrooms are very outdated and the en-suite is tiny and has mould in it, so not good. To cap it all it had cockroaches running around the place. We won't be back!!
