"Highly recommendable. Everything I need was there and it was clean everywhere though I stayed a room without bath, toilet and kitchen. Calm area but easy to go other town such as Port Louis or Curepipe etc,. Train station, boulangerie(napolitaine available!), briyani shop(tooo much for a single touirst!), convenience store nearby. However the toilet bowl could be better sanitized with disinfectant, some towels were still damp but enough were provided including for the beach. The food was fair with a good breakfast buffet. Beach access and amenities were excellent. The staff were helpful but there were many trainees and few seasoned staff. Overall it was a very comfortable stay. The promised bottle of wine per night never materialized."

"From the moment we walked in, we felt at home at Villa Sere. The view was stunning, the pool inviting and the space very clean. Finally a well equipped kitchen for a couple that actually cooks. We spent many hours lounging in the sun chairs under the shades, watching birds in the trees and the sun sparkle off the bay. The housekeeper Mary was our main point of contact and was very communicative and friendly. Close to a major grocery store as well, and easy access to the highways to cross the island. A gem of a property, and all at an amazing price."

"A perfect hideaway on the west coast in Mauritius. The house was so well equipped, having our own pool was amazing & watching the sun go down over the sea was just magic. Not to mention the amazing wildlife; birds, hermit crabs & bats.You need a car to get around if staying here, but that wasn't a problem. Mary the housekeeper was incredible & comms. with Rachel the host was timely, friendly & informative. I would definitely stay here againThankyou for a magical stay"
