Surprise 65th birthday for Mom!

This cabin was absolutely beautiful! The sunsets were incredible, we enjoyed the hot tub, so much space for our family of 9, the kids played in the game room, and we even got to enjoy snow!! Thank you for a great memorable trip!! We will be back!!

The House is great and the location is awesome.

The Basement Bedroom does not have a window!? The bed frame was broken and the bed was sagging in the middle. There were German Roaches in the kitchen and in the Bath on the main floor. Everything else was amazing.

Great stay in the mountains

This place has amazing views and was in a great location. The property looked as advertised, although it was not completely clean. The linens and bathrooms and counters were fine but the floor was a bit dirty, the porch was dirty and there were some spider webs around the interior and exterior. It was not a big deal at all and we just cleaned up quickly ourselves. There were only 2 horseshoes but we made it work. The fire pit was fun and the hot tub worked just fine. The property was great and we would absolutely rent again! The management company was amazing as well. They helped me through a payment issue as well as an issue we accidentally caused at the cabin. We will rent through this company again!

Idyllic Mountain Getaway!

If you are hesitant on booking, don’t be! This property was well maintained and beautiful, offering a perfect little getaway for my husband, myself and our beloved dog. The kitchen was well stocked and there was no shortage of good quality linens/towels. The upper level porches provided the perfect place to watch the sunset and listen to the peaceful sounds of nature. We also had a great time making s’mores around the fire pit in the evening and downtown Blue Ridge is just a quick drive away. If there is any complaint (which I’d be pressed to have one), it was that the wifi was spotty at best. Not a huge inconvenience for a weekend where the point was to unplug, but if I had needed to work, it would have been an issue. Overall, we loved our time at Big Sky and can’t wait to visit again in the near future!

BIRTHDAY celebrations

The property location is beautiful. I do feel there could be a little information regarding the drive up the Mountain and that arrival during daylight hours is a must on your first day. The spacial plan for the interior is perfect however the cleanliness needs improvement! Wood floors were dirty, blanket in first floor master was stained and toilets need to be updated. The refrigerator back was busted, missing compartments on the door and leaked when putting groceries in and again when packing them up to leave. I recommend a new refrigerator since almost every comment in the guest book referred to problems with the refrigerator. We had to purchase filters for the coffee maker even though we had brought coffee. A coffee maker should have proper filters for guest to make coffee they have brought. With a few improvements this could be a four star ⭐️ place. However, after staying in VRBO HOUSES “Big SKY Retreat” only gets a 3 star ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ For now. Hope this helps implement improvements for such a beautiful place in the sky, JERRI AND FRIENDS

Infested with cockroaches

While it was a beautiful home exactly as described, the house was infested with cockroaches. Every morning when I would turn on the lights they would scurry away from where they came, which was into the outlets, under the sink, behind the oven, and through a crack under the window. I have never been so disgusted in my life. I went to the store and bought raid and cockroach traps and the amount they caught was staggering. Needs immediate attention from a professional.

Relaxing Staycation

The six of us spent a wintery cold weekend on top of a mountain in this cozy well situated cabin. The cabin was very clean and well stocked. Walking in the snow flurries or sitting around the fire pit were out outdoor activities. Inside the two year old has plenty of room to roam while the adults enjoyed the gas fireplace. Only problem we had was overnight heat regulation. With bedrooms on three floors, someone was too hot or too cold every night. On our third night, we tried leaving the bedroom doors open and that helped some.

Nice neighborhood and great home. Very clean and was very easy to check in an out. Could use a little TLC as is the case with many rental properties but overall a great experience.
