Favorite Family Vaca

This has become our go-to family mountain vacation spot! The location of the property is perfect. It’s feels like you are secluded deep in the mountains but is also so close to Blue Ridge.

Weekend Getaway

We truly had a fantastic thanksgiving together as a family and made great memories at the cabin. Location was the best…only a couple minutes from Blue Ridge, and the BMT literally at the driveway. The cabin is so warm and welcoming. We love the outdoor areas with the dock, fire pit, and hot tub. It’s really well done!

We were very happy with our stay. The cabin was as expected and was in the perfect location. Not too far from things but far enough away. The lake view was amazing. I would highly recommend this cabin. Thank you!

Perfectly Fall

Love the cabin, the lake, the chapel, everything. It was the perfect little place. Road is a bit narrow getting to the cabin but it was manageable. Love the seclusion the scenery.

Relaxing Getaway

Nice pet friendly cabin close to Blue Ridge. The fireplace was wonderful. We couldn't use the outdoor firepit because of a burn ban, but we enjoyed the deck and hot tub. We had a relaxing week and it was great to be able to have our dogs.

Beautiful and peaceful

Absolutely excellent cabin, and the lake out back is so quiet and peaceful. Perfect location, quiet neighborhood but only 5 minutes from Blue Ridge, and the Benton Mackaye trail literally right outside your door. Would love to come back! Pictures are accurate, I definitely recommend!

We loved our 2 weeks we spent at this beautiful cabin in the woods! So peaceful, a beautiful setting, the weather was great. We didn't want to leave!!

The cabin was super nice. I liked the location but we were also right beside the walking trail.

Only complaint is one roll of toilet paper is not enough for a cabin of this size for more than one night.

We had a great couple of days celebrating my wife's birthday on our first visit to Blue Ridge. We explored the area a little and got into town for lunch one day but especially enjoyed relaxing on the dock and enjoying the peace and quiet. We would definitely consider staying here again and look forward to a return trip to Blue Ridge.

Picture perfect Long Weekend

This was a very cozy cabin that we enjoyed very much for a long weekend getaway. We brought our 2 dogs and so appreciated the welcome they received including a dog bed! Everything was very organized about our stay and the cabin with the fire pit, lake view, fabulous hot tub and great location, we'd love to come back.

Great stay, wonderful place!

We had a wonderful stay at Morningstar on the Lake! The location in Cherry Log is our favorite of any location, and the cabin was perfect - cozy, warm, and very romantic! The hot tub was a highlight - a few of the jets weren't working, but overall it was a great way to both start and end the day. We'll be back - thanks so much!

Relaxing Week at the Cabin

Wonderful cabin in the mountains. The weather was great with highs in the 60's and cooler mornings! We enjoyed the area State Parks and just driving around! The screen porch drinking coffee then screen porch in the evening with a glass of wine!
