Loved the cabin!

We loved staying here!! Beds were made and comfortable. Cabin Was very clean and kitchen stocked with everything you might need. Loved the jacuzzi and fire pit in the back near the creek. Great little place!!

Perfect Couples Retreat

Great place!

We loved the cabin at 82 Finch! It’s close enough to town but also back in the woods enough for the mountain feel. We saw deer and turkey everyday as we walked out the door. Great place and look forward to booking again.

This was a great stay for our weekend trip with 2 pups. The cabin was quaint and perfect for the 4 of us. The porch was a perfect feature with our dogs. The only issue we had was the upstairs light flicking on by itself.

Very clean, nice cabin. Loved the big porch and being able to hear the creek when sitting outside. Very adequately supplied with stuff like bath towels, toilet tissue, etc. We enjoyed the area and had a very nice long weekend trip!

Great time with Dogs

Spent 2 days with my wife and our 2 dogs in the cabin. The cabin was great. It was very cozy for the 2 of us. Has an upstairs bedroom that could accommodate another couple. Our dogs loved the enclosed patios to walk around. We would definitely recommend and will be returning.

the only complaint I had is that the cabin was a bit tricky to get to, but once I was there I did not want to leave! Property management group was very difficult to communicate with, so make sure to email them with enough time in advance.

Great cabin, poor management

Loved the cabin. Tricky to get to without at least an SUV. One lane roadway into the property so be prepared to drop a wheel off the pavement if encountering on-coming traffic. Not good with low ground clearance. Cabin very nice with a great hot tub and nice kitchen. Tried to light the fireplace and would not light. Emailed Vacasa, the property management, at least twice, and texted, and never got a response. Never got to use it. I recommend the cabin but I will probably never use Vacasa again and try to book via owners instead.

Smelly Cabin

The cabin was cute, but dark and dreary. The entire cabin smelled of urine. We tried to air the place out, but it didnt help. The fire place worked for a few minutes and shut off and would not turn back on. We could not get the dishwasher to work. The recliner was broken. The sheets on the beds were fne? However the comforter and blankets were worn out and smelled like they had not been washed. The place needs to be cleaned throughly.

Nice But...

The inside of the cabin was nice and clean and It was relaxing to sit on the screened in porch and read. We were excited to get to use the hot tub when there was a break in the rain, but were disappointed that there was no privacy wall, as there is a house literally right next door. Some sort of roof would be nice over the hot tub too, so that you can still enjoy it during rainy days. We were looking forward to cooking on the grill, but found that both propane tanks sitting by the grill were empty. There is a Keurig coffee maker, but make sure to bring your own k-pods. Any cabin we have stayed in before has left a few k-pods, a few tea bags, and youre basic spices for cooking. This particular cabin did not. Overall the disappointment outweighed the delight, and sadly we wouldn't recommend.

Perfect size

It is such a great location with a really short drive to town! Even with a hard freeze, we didn't have a hard time with the driveway. The only issue we had was that there were trash bags in the patio when we arrived. We texted management about it and got a reply a day later (which is fine, it's the holidays and it was 10°F).

My stay in the Blue Ridge Mountains!!

I really needed a break away from the Company that I work for. And this was the perfect place, Seen five deer just before we got to the Cabin, Then there’s five standing 15 feet from the cabin. Very quiet location and the hot tub was a great way to end the day. It rained most of the time I was there but that was no problem, great movie channels too. Just what I needed some rest from the daily routine. Will be back. Enjoyed every minute of the time we were there.

Comfort of home.

We absolutely loved our stay everything was clean and fresh smelling. Beautifully decorated with the comfort of home in mind. From soft beds to having ice ready in the freezer which was awesome as I forgot to stop and get a bag of ice. Even my dogs had fun and we didn't have to worry that they would jump off the porch as they have it screened and blocked on the bottom. Not many pet friendly places have this and it was very nice not to worry especially since I have a mini dachshund and a shih tzu. Can't wait to visit again. Thank you for thinking of everything and making it a great vacation time.
