My family loved our week in this wonderful and beautiful mountain home. From home-cooked family meals, streaks on the grill, walks to and from the river where we played frisbee and skipped rocks, we had a week that we will remember for the rest of our lives!

The location of this home was perfect, close to Blue Ridge yet secluded and private in a very quiet area. The home was very clean and had everything we needed for our family trip. We loved the screened in porches & outdoor fireplace area. We would definitely stay here again. The host was very responsive and was helpful when we had questions. Thank you for having our family. Awesome vacation with the family at Riverwalk! The cabin was perfect in every way. The location is great. Just a short drive to Blue Ridge and McCaysville. The accommodations were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, and the porches were so peaceful in the evenings. There was more than enough space for our family of 7 and 2 dogs. The fenced back yard was perfect for letting the dogs run and play without their leashes. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend a vacation here.

Nice stay in the woods

The cabin was nice. Secluded, basically as described. Accommodated 5 of us with room to spare. The road to get to it was not so nice. Unless you have a suv, I wouldnt do it. The car bottomed out over and over. The road to get down to the river was just awful.

A Piece of Heaven!!

We absolutely loved the house!! It was perfect for my family!! Being able to spend time of the porches, cook dinner in a fully equipped kitchen and spend time together was such a blessing!! The quick trip to the water - WoW!! What a primo spot!! We enjoyed fly fishing, swing on the swing and sitting in the water in chairs visiting and enjoying our piece of heaven. It was located close to downtown Blue Ridge, the marina for the fireworks and fun wineries and orchards!! There was something for everyone, ages 6months to 86!! A wonderful time was had by all!!

Beyond expectations

This property exceeded all of our expectations for our family get together. The location of the property is a short-drive from downtown Blue Ridge and the kids loved walking down to the river to fish. All accommodations were so comfortable and homey! We highly recommend this property!

Memories Made

Very clean and convenient cabin in the woods. It was a perfect place for our family. The two grandsons (8)and (5) loved the loft area. A huge storm came through and we lost power for around 20 hours. We huddled around the fireplace on the porch and played charades....perfect!

29 Year Anniversary

We are Recent empty nesters who wanted to get away for our anniversary but not “travel” due to Covid. This was PERFECT! We loved this house, we found that it needed to be cleaned better (dusting and vacuuming) but over all it was perfect for our family trip. We had motorcycles, and were nervous at 1st, but if your a skilled rider you will be able to handle the drive ways. Thank you for helping in our Hallmark movie vacation. Fall Folage was ON POINT...

Missing River

House was beautiful and well stocked. Property was heavily wooded near house but river was not visible from house. Little disappointing. Weather was perfect for late July, cool mornings and warm afternoons! Would definitely stay here again maybe in the fall when leaves change!
