We thoroughly enjoyed our stay . Location was ideal for family with small children. Villa was basic but that’s all we needed . I would recommend a Television in each room and heavy rugs by the front doors to prevent dirt on the floors.

The cabin was clean and staff was very nice. We had a unit which the thermostat wasn't working. "Danny" was on it and when couldn't get it to work, quickly got us into the cabin right next door. All worked out and very much enjoyed our stay!

The staff was amazing! We had a wonderful experience at booking, obtaining our keys, and with the security. The cabin could’ve been cleaner. The cleaning company should work on removing the spider webs and the dead spiders and bugs from the bathrooms and bedrooms. Location was great, the cabin had absolutely everything we would need, and the room arrangements were wonderful. The WiFi was VERY spotty, that can be a good and bad thing I guess. Anyone booking should definitely keep the WiFi in mind. You probably won’t be able to make calls and you MAY have service near the router. You definitely won’t have WiFi upstairs in the bedroom and further than 5 feet. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!

We love that it was pet friendly. We also love this home as it was nice and clean and very private. Everything was comfortable and it was like being at home away from home. The roads were a little narrow and steep for us, but after a few tries, we were OK with it.

The amenities were great, and the property was beautiful, but I would recommend renting from private owners within the property due to some problems I had with the resort renters. The resort changed our listing and after we paid a higher price to get a river view room, we were given a Mountain View. When we asked the resort to help us straighten things out they refused to make it right.

The overall property was amazing- so quiet and peaceful. We saw countless deer and were able to enjoy a stunning view of the sunset every evening. The villas are dated. Which is fine and do-able…however, the pungent mildew smell was more than I could bear. It is not only the smell but the toxins from either the mold or fungi that it’s coming from; my body began swelling, could not stop sneezing, eyes watering, etc. Would love to come back but please do something about this. It is simply hazardous for your guests to constantly breathe in these toxins.

Beautiful area. The property was very clean and neat. It was dated but still comfortable for our short stay. Getting to the property the road was very very narrow and you had to be very careful.

Our girls trip was awesome. We had plenty of room and Debbie at checkin, as usual was so helpful and sweet. The weather was great and shopping, apple picking and wine tastings were plentiful. Villas at Coosawattee River is my favorite place in Ellijay.

Relaxing trip

Everything was perfect. Only complaints are no WiFi & half the electrical outlets need to be replaced in unit. Cords won’t stay plugged in. We made it work. Unit was very clean and comfortable. Will definitely be back for a third trip.

The nice lady at check in warned the WiFi was “spotty”. And no guarantee on the WiFi. Well, spotty is a very generous description of a place that had very little WiFi, no cell signal (our phones went to SOS mode), and had a landline phone that was purely decorative as there was no dial tone. They advertised “CABLE TV”, which is a lie. They supply a TV which is attached to the nonexistent WiFi. We tried for over half an hour to connect to our personal Netflix account, to no avail. You can’t keep internet for 5 minutes to establish the connection. Two lights burnt out in living area, filthy uncomfortable deck furniture, and uncomfortable couches made hanging out challenging. The bed was ancient and sagging in the middle and neither of us slept well. The hairdryer is a wall mounted one that has not been actually mounted to a wall, so you have this clunky thing to plug in and try to dry your hair with that. Not a single hook in the bathroom, and the one towel rack was so small that only one towel folded in half fits on it. No where to hang another towel or robe. This place is not cheap enough and should come with a warning that is it COMPLETELY OFF THE GRID. Pack a ton of books and a book light.

House smelled terrible. Not sure what the smell was. Smelled musty and like a strong fried food smell. And lingered the whole visit, smell was left on our clothes and items. Even ziplock bags and dogs fur coat. Plugs loose
