I was told that Crisol Monasterio de San Miguel could not transfer the booking so I paid twice. “My husband and I stayed here while in Cádiz and loved it!!! Very cool hotel in the middle of old town. Room was very clean and there was access to a roof top terrace as well. The staff was very helpful and provided recommendations for restaurants. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if we ever find ourselves in Cádiz in the future!”

“Only picky things to mention. The windows looked out onto reception so we had to keep the curtains closed all the time. The were a few marks in the cutlery draw. This is all very much outweighed by tge staff, cleanliness and comfort. Would definitely recommend. ”

“The hotel is a historic mansion with the architectural elegance. The room is small. Although each room has a balcony, there is no view at all as it is located on an inner street. If you open the window, it will be quite noisy. Many restaurants nearby. The breakfast and the waiter service are great. I've sent an email to request for a room at the higher floor. No response from them at all, but I was given a room on the lowest floor when check in. ”

“There was mold on the walls that made us all sick, there was stains on the bedding for the pull out bed (slept on floor wrapped in a towel). I enjoyed how many things were usable (hair curler, wine opener, glasses) and the rest of the place wasn’t bad. But very disappointing and not fun to get sick on the trip. Still waiting on compensation response from the owner. ”

“Hotel Argantonio was the perfect place for our weekend trip to Cadiz. The hotel was very quaint, and the staff was very friendly. I would stay here again.”

“Very unique and quaint hotel in an older well maintained building- wonderfully located near restaurants, plazas and shopping. A 20 minute walk to train station and the Museum of Cádiz virtually a few hundred feet away. Bed comfortable, good shower and large room. Also a rooftop deck overlooking the Atlantic where you can order tapas and drinks. Would stay again.”
