It’s a very nice hotel within walking distance of many restaurants. The seating areas by the open air fireplaces were lovely. The breakfast buffet is beautiful. If you are a light sleeper, you may find the thin walls an issue. We were awakened several times during the night when the people in the room above us flushed the toilet.

Nice, but...

Older hotel that has been updated. While it is very charming it is not to the typical Four Seasons standards in other countries. The rooms are quite loud with street/car noise through the night. Breakfast was great. Staff was great. Location away from the sites of the city but still pretty decent.

We have stayed at several FS properties over the years but this property didn’t meet expectations. We were given a room in the colonial building despite rooms in the newer building showing as available online. The room was dark and tired with a lumpy mattress and no heating (Bogotá in January is cold). We asked to upgrade to a suite and were quoted a cost that was higher than booking the suite online. The immediate area doesn’t feel secure. It’s a shame as we have upcoming trips to Bogotá and the rates are good but I’d skip this property for others in the area.
