Cabin on the River

Beautiful scenic cabin with a 7 person hot tub located on 100+ acres on the Blue River. This cabin can sleep up to 8 (with additional child accommodations) and is less than 15 minutes from the Choctaw Casino and 20 minutes from Lake Texoma. The cabin is a 3/2 and includes a King bed in the Master Bedroom, a Queen bed in the 2nd bedroom and two sets of bunk beds in the 3rd bedroom. The open living/kitchen area features large windows with breath taking views along with a cozy fireplace for those cold day/nights. There are two full bathrooms. The laundry room offers a full-size washer and dryer for your convenience. STARLINK internet access! There are two ponds located on the property as well as access to the Blue River for fishing and Kayaking (three Kayaks are available for use on premises). The ponds are catch and release (fishing license required). There is a large firepit located in front of the cabin, a horseshoe pit, basketball goal, corn hole game along with an outdoor charcoal grill. With beautiful scenery and tons of wildlife to view, this very private and relaxing place close to the Choctaw Casino (restaurants and entertainment) offers fishing, hiking, kayaking, peace, quiet and a big dose of nature! Perfect Getaway

Very nice cabin with lots to do. A perfect getaway for the family. We fished, hiked, kayaked, charcoaled some steaks, played horseshoes, relaxed in the hot tub, and sat around the fire pit. I wish we could have stayed longer!

This place is great. It is as described, bedrooms and bathrooms. Absolutely, love the quietness and view from the porch. All outdoor activities and seating also great. I would recommend staying here and would stay again.

Quiet relaxing setting

We really enjoyed our stay, very quiet and relaxing. The home is beautifully decorated. The master bed is super comfortable. The pictures don't do this place justice. We hope to return soon.

Perfect for the family

Cabin on the River was our first non- hotel rental and it more than exceeded expectations. The open space was perfect for outdoor play for the littles and the bigger kids enjoyed fishing. The fire pit is great for s’mores and the fireplace took the morning chill off amazingly. We are already planning our next trip back !

Riverfront Ranch

Extremely beautiful property along the Blue River. Secluded ranch yet 25 minutes from Durant. Very convenient. Very nice cabin on property with everything you need for a wonderful stay. Enjoy the outdoors, nature and quiet solitude

RELAXING GETAWAY

The Cabin on The River is the perfect escape, just a short drive from our Dallas home, making it ideal for a quick weekend getaway to unwind and reconnect with nature. We brought our grandkids along, and they had an absolute blast! The cabin is cozy, and the surrounding land offers plenty of space to explore, with a beautiful pond, river, and lots of outdoor activities. The kids had so much fun with the basketball hoop, tire swing, and kayaking on the river. It’s the perfect spot for family fun and relaxation!

We absolutely had the best time at this beautiful place. It was more than we imagined. It was cute, clean, had so much for the kids to do. Our best day was spent in the river and every night the kids made s’mores. Memories made and we will be back!

Wow! What an outstanding property. Loved the 'fancy rustic' decor. The complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch as well as the makings for s'mores. Since it was December when were were there, the fire pit was a warm & cozy place to relax after a full day of exploring the area. Wish we lived closer!!!!

Had a great time on this very private (and large) property with friends and family. The property is already pretty awesome but its obvious the host is working to make it even better. The host even sent someone out very quickly to jump one of our guests truck when it wouldn't start. 5/5, excellent value. Would stay again!

Excellent stay away from the City

The property was a great retreat from the city, with family and kids. Plenty of activities: camp fire, hot tub, basketball, tire swing, fishing, kayaking, hiking, exploring, playing with the dog outside, etc. The owner was very professional and accommodating. Short distance from larger cities, excellent place in the countryside to get away. Thanks for having us!

Wonderful

A one of a kind find. This was one of the best stays our family has experienced. Warm comfortable house with a spectacular setting and everything that you could hope for. The owner was a pleasure to work with and responded to our every need on our schedule. The facilities could not have been nicer and everyone in our party was in love with this property.
