Great property! Stunning view of the Blue Ridge Mountains! Great location for peace and quiet, I only saw one vehicle pass in the four days we were there! The property was close to everything you could possibly hope to access! Skiing, hiking and just relaxing! My family would love to come back again!

Perfect Home Base for our Stay in Boone.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chapel Rest. It's thoughtfully provisioned with everything we needed. Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the view from the deck was beautiful. I enjoyed watching the sun come up each morning. We heartily recommend this cabin.

Awesome stay

It was Awesome. We came up to enjoy the Boone, Sugar Mountain & Banner Elk area. We hoped for snow and we got 2 full days of it. The cabin was really clean and plenty of space. Nice views. We highly recommend this cabin.

Great Mom and Daughters Weekend!

This home met all of our needs! There were enough beds for everyone to have their own space and enough bathrooms for 3 teenaged girls to get ready :). The kitchen had everything we needed for us to cook our traditional vacation breakfasts. And the view was AMAZING! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Great cabin!

We had a perfect vacation because of this lovely cabin! We are extremely grateful to find a vacation house that is pet-free, they’re getting very scarce. The only difficulty I had was in making the second online payment, and communication with the management company was nearly impossible. The owners themselves were great!

The place was clean, accommodations were fine and better than staying at a hotel. I wish they would list on Vrbo when they have you sign a separate leasing agreement. I was a little uncomfortable giving them my children’s names which was asked for on the separate agreement.

Gorgeous and cozy

Cozy and relaxing. It was so quiet in and out of the house. The view was AMAZING. I only wish there were more windows :) The driveway was adventurous for a flat land liver like myself- we entered in through the neighbors driveway and it was MUCH smoother to get down! Location was great. Close to down town without the traffic and noise.

Perfect mountain stay

This cute little house was perfect for a girls’ weekend. We were 3 moms enjoying a break from our little kids. The home offered just the right amount of space for us to enjoy tasty meals in, watch Netflix, play games, and relax. We loved the nearby hikes and shopping in downtown Boone. Grocery stores and restaurant options were also nearby and convenient. The furnishings were nice and comfortable. The home was clean. We felt right at home would have loved a longer stay. We would definitely recommend this property and would stay again.

Wonderful view minutes from Boone

Spent three nights here with my family. The view from the deck doesn’t disappoint either morning or evening hours. Very comfortable living room furniture arrangement. Nice downstairs option for a respite from family or to have for kids to play in, with a second deck. Home was clean and linens were plentiful. Comfortable bedding, though soft if you prefer firm beds. Nicely appointed home with a lot of thought from the owners (books, entertainment options, etc). Kitchen utensils and supplies were fine, with an overflow supply of items in the hall closet. Reasonably priced for the home. Communication with the owners were superb leading up to and during the trip. Extremely easy checkout procedure. Good details left for guests. Located a bit out of the way but still close enough to Boone to be there within 15 minutes. Only gripe was the road noise that was apparent from Hwy 421 below in the valley that seemed to reverberate up the hill to the home. Driveway was a bit tricky to maneuver at first but using the col de sac at the end of the street helps.
