Welcome to Mountain Meadows!

Mountain Meadows is a cozy, 2BR/2BA cabin with pastoral views in one of the most beautiful parts of the High Country. As you approach, you will find the front porch equipped with plenty of outdoor seating for everyone to enjoy sunsets and sunrises across the hills. Upon entering, you will immediately notice the cabin decor that matches a fantastic experience in the mountains. Enjoy the fireplace while looking out across the Blue Ridge. On the rear deck, find more seating, a built-in hot tub, and a gas grill for those warm summer afternoons. The master bedroom is on the main floor and has a TV and a view. Upstairs, you will find the second bedroom with an en suite private bath and views across the way. Outside the front of the cabin, you will find a fire pit to enjoy the sunsets with a fire going at night. Book Mountain Meadows today and experience what it's like to stay in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

*This home is dog-friendly with additional pet fees required.

Note: There is an additional sleeping cot available in the home to accommodate a total of 5 guests if desired.

Cabin was exactly as described, was clean upon arrival and had everything we needed for a long weekend with our 2 shih-tzus. Communication with the rental agency was quick and efficient. The front porch swing was probably my favorite part...I enjoyed sitting out there and watching the cows across the street. Would stay here again.

Clean and comfortable. No surprises. Every thing was as pictured in the listing. We had a rainy day during our stay and was very comfortable with binge watching one our favorite shows on HULU. A couple of sisters.

Mountain Getaway

We are B&B owners on Amelia Island and wanted a cooler location for our vacation. Also we have innkeeper friends in Vilas and this was convenient to visit them. We went to Boone (very congested especially with kids checking into dorms), West Jefferson (cute but sleepy town), and Blowing Rock (our favorite- great shops, dining, and brewery). The kids in the park had fun petting Molly! Very pet friendly area with many restaurants with outdoor dining space. Don’t miss Melanies in Boone and Over Yonder in Vilas. Cabin was ideal for us and we enjoyed coffee on the front porch waiting for the fog to lift and listening to the cows across the street. Dinners on the back porch were very peaceful. Had a deer visit one morning. Highly recommend for a quiet, relaxing, peaceful visit to the mountains.

Very secluded & private. Beautiful home!

The front porch is incredible! We brought lots of firewood and really enjoyed the firepit. No worries of neighbors hearing music, laughter, etc. Would have been nice if the downstairs bedroom had a dresser....lived out of our suitcases for 4 days. Driveway is long, steep, and has a switchback half way up. We had a trailer for our motorcycle. I'm just glad I'm very good at backing up otherwise it would have been difficult to maneuver the trailer near the cabin. Overall and excellent cabin!

Anniversary weekend

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at the Mountain Meadows cabin and had a amazing experience. This was our first time ever booking something like this and look forward to doing it again. The view was awesome off the front porch, the hot tub worked great as well.

Cabin in the Sky

Beautiful home with magnificent views. Relaxing vacation. Loved sitting on the porch swing in the early morning and evenings. Could use more cooking dishes and frying pans. Dishes in the dishwasher were dirty when we arrived. Beds were very comfortable, sheets were so soft. Enjoyed the hot tub but was hard to get in and out of. Would highly recommend staying here. Look forward to booking again.
