The Reserve at Sugar Mountain is the best and most scenic mountain resort in western North Carolina. From the balcony, enjoy the natural beauty and the soul-satisfying views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Linville Valley. Enjoy the view from the top of the world! This two bedroom, two bath deluxe condominium is perched high above it all at the top of Sugar Mountain and offers stunning long range views. It is also very close to the slopes - walk about 50 feet and you are there! When not skiing in winter or enjoying the cool summer breezes at more than 5,000 elevation you will enjoy interior comforts such as WiFi, gourmet kitchen, and spacious living and dining areas.

What's nearby:
Sugar Mountain Resort is just moments away from this condo, where you'll find an outdoor skating rink, snow tubing, mountain bike tours and a full golf course. There are plenty of restaurants close by, including Reid's Cafe and Elevations Restaurant. Sightseeing is plentiful in this area as well, such as the Foggy Mountain Gem Mine, Mile High Swinging Bridge and Grandfather State Park.

This was a nice property but could use some improvements. There were some hairs on the bathroom counter upon arrival and the toilet paper holder was broken. It also needs some cosmetic updates. Amazing location! We were able to walk right onto the ski slopes.

When first viewing property, was led to believe the unit was level with parking lot. Not true--two flights of stairs for dragging luggage to unit and back out again when leaving. Several things in the unit did not work, a list was left for housekeeping to deal.

Nice place but....

The condo was absolutely beautiful with an amazing view and was easy to find up on top of the mountain. The problem we had is when we turned on the water in both of the showers bugs came out. I reached out to Vacasa who finally sent me a message 12 days (yes days) after my initial inquiry. VERY disappointed with the management company.

Awesome Place! Amazing Views

Was looking for a place to stay for the night while we went snowboarding. Check is was super easy at 4 once we got off the slopes had time to check in get settled and go back at 5pm to buy the night passes. Amazing 180° view of the mountains. Very clean, gas fireplace was a plus.

Incredible location

Beautiful property that was well furnished. We walked to the slope each day through a short trail through the woods. The kitchen was outfitted well but needed some more supplies like salt and pepper, plastic wrap, and a few extra trash bags.

This property had beautiful views from the porch! The layout was perfect for my family of 4, too! We had a few issues though...the light over the shower did not work, some of the dishes in the cupboards were dirty, we found pillows without any pillowcases, and we could not find the building trash location. We only stayed one night, so it wasn't too big of a deal. The views and layout were perfect, though! We had a good trip.

Great Location!

Great condo at the top of Sugar Mountain. Beautiful view in all directions. Perfect location to ski sugar mountain. Decor looks like it was very recently updated as everything is in excellent condition.

Definitely overpriced

Location is great, condo is as pictured with the exception of couple of moldy spots in the shower. 2 out of the 3 nights it was extremely windy outside and there are huge gaps in sliding glass doors, it was cold and so loud! The wind was just howling. I made a video of just how loud it was. Very hard to sleep for light sleepers like me. Fireplace did not work. We reached out to management & they did agree to help, however it was hard to coordinate as we were out most of the day. To think that we paid $700 a night with all the fees for 2 sleepless nights is sad. I ended up napping at our friends cabin.

Lovely condo

This condo is beautiful! It is at the top of the mountain, at 5200 ft. You will need 4wd to get to it when roads ice. During rainstorm, water seeps in the sliding doors and on to the wooden floors. We spent all day wiping up. Also, the pilot light in the fireplace won’t stay lit, if windy outside. Appliances are noisy. Beds are cozy. Jet tub is nice at the end of the day. We enjoyed our stay!
