Our restored, 850 square-foot wood-lined cabin blends naturally into the forested setting. So much so, that when you step out on the back porch, you will be convinced you are in a tree house. You are sure to love this private and secluded refuge while being only minutes to downtown Boone.
Stepping into the home, you are wrapped in the warm embrace of the raw wood hues and rustic beams. The living room has been expertly designed for both function and comfort. Here you will find comfortable and contemporary furniture by West Elm and a 55 inch Roku TV for your leisure. The cabin offers free Wifi making it possible to enjoy some entertainment, plan the next day's hike, and do remote work (if you must). Please note, this is "mountain Wifi" and thus it can be spotty at times depending on cloud cover and level of demand on the towers.
The heart of every home is the kitchen ... the West Elm dining table with comfortable seating for 6 makes it the perfect place to share a meal, play a game, or reminisce the days events. The kitchen comes fully loaded with everything you need - from William Sonoma cooking tools, to Cuisinart appliances (including a blender, coffee maker, toaster, and microwave) you will have no problem whipping up your favorite dish. The cabin boasts stainless steel appliances including a refrigerator with Brita filter, dishwasher, and electric Range/Oven.
You are assured to get a good night's rest after a day full of fun adventures. Both bedrooms feature the award-winning Helix mattresses with high end linens, West Elm dressers, and closets with hangars - so unpack that suitcase and make yourself at home. The main bedroom has a King size bed with private bathroom while the second bedroom offers a queen bed, lofted twin and ensuite bath.
In the bathrooms, we have provided shampoo, conditioner, and body wash to leave you smelling your best. You will find 5 sets of soft, absorbent towels and washcloths hung on towel racks. If you need an additional towel, check under the bathroom sinks. (There you will also find a hair dryer).
Have no worries if you get a bit dirty on one of your adventures. . . . the house includes a full size washer and dryer for your convenience. You will also find an iron, mini ironing board, vacuum, and broom in the laundry closet.
Best of all, is the covered back porch with comfortable seating for 4. This is the perfect place for your morning coffee and soaking in the sights and sounds of nature. It truly feels like you are in a tree house!
The wooden walkway that connects the parking area to the home is lighted by a motion-sensor Blink floodlight. This serves to light up the 6 steps to enter the house for your safety.
There is parking for up to two cars along the shoulder of the newly paved street right by the house.

Our Operational Manager lives 2 miles away and is just a phone call or text away should any needs arise.
Other things to note
-The road is a bit curvy coming into the neighborhood so take your time.
-Basic starter supplies like hand soap and dishwashing soap are provided to get you going, but if staying for long stays, you will need to supplement with your own.
