Fabulous Family Vacation Cabin

The cabin is beautiful and the view is amazing! The kitchen was very well stocked, hot tub was wonderful, fire pit was great and the whole house was comfortable. We had an awesome family vacation (3 generations) we loved it!

Van Beek’s Peak

Wonderful property and location! The views were stunning! Perfectly set up to easily accommodate 2 families with kids! We will definitely be back and highly recommend!

Beautiful Cabin

The cabin was everything we expected and more. Our visit had snow and made it even more special, as we don't see it from our home state. Thank you for making it feel like home and good Lord willing we will be back in the future.

Amazing mini family ski - vacation

We stayed at an incredible cabin . The cabin itself was so nice you can live in it, let alone vacation there. Super clean, Very spacious & inviting, extremely family oriented and equipped with everything you need . Hot - tub, giant deck, grill and most importantly amazing view. A+++++

Awesome views

We had 10 people and had plenty room. We really enjoyed our time there and the view was amazing. The cabin had everything we needed. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub and the kids and adults enjoyed the air hockey table and darts. We all agreed that we will stay there again.

No complaints!! A perfect getaway

We had an amazing time and I have no complaints. The booking/checkin/checkout process was seamless due to the superb communication from the management company. The property was great- adorably decorated, very cozy-cabin feel. We loved it!

Beautiful views!

We had a great long weekend with our adult children, their spouses and dogs. The views are awesome and love the rustic ambience! The house is well equipped with all you need. We spent much of our time on the porch facing the mountain views or by the fire pit. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful get away

We had an amazing time at our stay this long weekend. We went up for my daughters graduation at App. It’s about 25 minutes from the school. About 20 minutes to Banner elk as well so good in between spot. Absolutely loved the views and the place is great, especially for older kids, with lots of amenities and things to entertain with!

Amazing View!

Very beautiful cabin with upgrades throughout. Outstanding kitchen fully stocked to cook whatever you wish. Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of room for the entire family. The home and view is nicer than the photos show. The location is perfect if you plan to hike or visit neighboring towns.

Wonderfully Wooded

This was the PERFECT house for our graduation celebration weekend. The drive up the mountain was beautiful, and made us feel like we were leaving civilization which is EXACTLY what we wanted to do after being in Boone’s traffic! Beautifully decorated, CLEAN, spacious, comfortable. It FELT like home.

Amazing views and dream log home

We had a great holiday week with the whole family in this gorgeous log home! Soaring ceilings and million dollar views! The home had more than enough room for 3 generations of family and our pup! Beds were comfortable, house was clean, there were a few minor housekeeping issues when we got there, but were taken care of right away. We had a great time…we will never forget our Christmas vacation at Van Beeks Peak!❤️

Mountain get away

We had a awesome stay! The photos of the property and interior come up short. Views and cabin design and decor beautiful. Kitchen had most everything we needed (we over packed). Could of used a food processor. The drive up to cabin was a challenge for some but was well worth the climb. We are hoping for a future return. Thank you for a wonderful vacation 💕

The house was clean and well prepared. Very spacious and great location.

The rental experience was smooth and easy. The only very small issue was the door lock code assigned would not work at the time of check in. Made a quick call and they gave me a new code within minutes. The rest of the stay was great and would highly recommend this property.

Cabin with an excellent view

Location and cabin were excellent. The only thing we can complain about was that there was a note when we arrived that we shouldn’t use the hot tub, and that maintenance had been contacted. I called the next day, but we never heard anything back and didn’t know if anyone had come to address the issue. The second thing is that the gas for the grill did not last the entire stay, and there was no backup.

Not the greatest experience

We expected there to be challenges given Hurricane Helene but what we did not expect was to drive through a temporary road that was not disclosed ahead of time. This was very confusing and difficult on our vehicles. Additionally we discovered mice feces under the sheets of 2 beds, had no internet and very spotty cell signal. I really wanted to enjoy and love this property but those issues made it difficult for all of us. Property management is attempting to work this out however I am not impressed with lack of transparency and slow turn times on addressing our concerns.

Perfect Place

This cabin was absolutely perfect for our family trip this past weekend! The kitchen is extremely well stocked with cooking utensils which made it easy for us to prepare breakfast for ten two mornings as well as grill out for the group Saturday night. We did not use the indoor fireplace but took advantage of the outdoor firepit two out of three nights. The cabin is equipped woth plenty folding chairs for the firepit, an ax, and even had extendable roasting sticks for marshmallows (or hotdogs, or whatever you'd pierce and fire). The kids loved checkers in the loft and air hockey on the lower level, and all the adults (and one teen) in the family fit in the cleanest hot tub I've ever seen at a rental. Overall, this cabin was amazing, an after years and years of renting in the area, we all agreed that this was our favorite place so far!

Amazing cabin

I cannot give this property enough praises. It was, by far, the best cabin experienced we have had to date! It was absolutely perfect for our family. We stayed with our daughter, her husband, and our 2 grandkids. The downstairs is separated with doors on the upper and lower floors so it was perfect for containing our 18 month old grandson (who loves climbing stairs, lol). The cabin itself was so solid (you could not hear a peep from anyone downstairs or upstairs...huge plus for peeps with babies!) The master bedroom on the main floor was amazing. The great room was so comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with every cooking item you could every need/want. The upper floor has a contained deck so we were comfortable letting the kiddos and the dog roam free in that area. Everything was clean, perfect, and completely family friendly. If you have never experienced a cabin vacation...you have to stay here! You will never rent another hotel room again. Thank you so much for letting us stay at your gorgeous property!
