Perfect stay!

What a gem! So close to town but quiet with easy parking. Was a little nervous abt the spiral staircase but it was really fine. This is a great, clean, comfortable place to stay. We enjoyed being able to walk into town for shopping and dinner. Highly recommend!!

Perfect location!

This rental is perfect for a getaway to Booth Bay! It’s cute, clean, and within walking distance of the Boothbay Shops & restaurants. We were there to visit family who live in Southport, and this was the perfect home base for us and our two children. The price was reasonable, which is not always easy to find in Maine mid-summer. The host was very attentive, which was really nice as well. Will def stay again!

Perfect, Quiet In-town Location

Wow! We were so pleased with out stay at Firstmate. It was a short and pretty walk to the heart of downtown Boothbay Harbor. The two story apartment was at the back of a Victorian set well back from the road and it was very quiet and peaceful. On the private balcony we felt like we were in a treehouse overlooking a lot of trees and greenery. The inside was well laid out with comfortable beds, fluffy towels, and lots of privacy between bedrooms. The lower level had just what we needed for making snacks and hanging out. Not a "cook's kitchen" per se but more than adequate for storing and reheating all of our leftovers. The entire unit was spotless and exceeded out expectations. On the last day we realized that there were storage drawers incorporated into the bed frames but there was more than enough room in the closets for our clothes. There are no negatives but I would just add a kettle for the tea drinkers.
