This was my girlfriend and I first time in Bora Bora. The staff at Villa Yrondi made our first 3 days absolutely wonderful by helping set up activities, taxi rides, and gave an abundance of information about the island. The Villa itself has a very beautiful ocean and Mountain view. The building itself is a piece of art surrounded by the owners sculptures and paintings. It also has every amenity you will need. Thank you for making our vacation in Bora Bora so wonderful.

The Villa is an artists vision. A live in artist who has built a villa that blends art , community and the environment that blends into everyday. Valerie was so wonderful, helpful, accomodating and kind. The staff are friendly and the breakfasts are so scrumptious. We loved our days here and could have stayed longer. Well worth it!

If you’re looking for modern amenities and are used to resort life, stop reading now. Villa Yrondi probably isn’t for you. This is for travelers who want to tune out, slow down, and enjoy island life without needing constant entertainment. I stayed in the Sculpture Room—rustic, full of character, and surrounded by beautiful art. There’s no TV, so bring a book, download something beforehand, or embrace doing absolutely nothing. The staff was wonderful—warm, helpful, and welcoming. There are bikes available, but I’d recommend renting a car. Between Bora Bora’s manual, cash-only, seemingly dynamic taxi pricing, you may end up spending about the same anyway. The drivers, however, were lovely. I spent much of my time in the patio/dining area enjoying the view and on the rooftop landing with my morning coffee. The highlight was a personal invitation from owner/artist Garrick Yrondi to visit his home and studio. Seeing his artwork, decor, and enjoying the view from his balcony made the stay truly special. Yes, there are a few small critters around—it’s the tropics—but if you’re not squeamish, Villa Yrondi is a must-stay. I’d absolutely return. Next time, just a little more prepared. ;)

The Villa has a stunning view of Mount Pahia. It located just over under 10 mins ride to super market, ferry dock. There are 2 restaurants within 2 mins walk. The Villa is open space. Ants, a lot of ants, mosquitoes, might found in your room. Breakfast was terrible. Every room has different decor and views. The reason why I chose to stay here is the price. I think it’s the cheapest place to stay in Bora Bora.

Great spot for the price. Beautiful, quiet views. Biggest concern was the room not being sealed from the environment (considerable amount of ants, a couple wasps, etc.). Nothing I didn’t anticipate having read other reviews. I still give a 5 because the villa has so much character and the view is so spectacular. If they sealed the rooms better I’d be more certain I’d be back.

A bit far from the ferry and main spots, so not ideal if you don’t drive or cycle. My room had an amazing view of Mount Otemanu, though there was a slight damp smell. The receptionist was incredibly helpful, especially after I injured myself falling off one of their bikes, and she arranged taxis for my arrival and departure. Great option if you’re out all day on tours and excursions.
