A lovely central location in a quiet building

Cristina's apartment is in an excellent location, only five minutes from the beach and Lungomare, and a short walk to Bordighera Alta and all the sights. it's a charming place with views of the hill behind and the neighbour's lemon and orange trees from one side and to the Bicknell Institute on the other. A comfortable spot to be in a quiet neighbourhood.

Charming Italian apartment

Beyond our expectations!! Beautiful lush view, five to ten minute walk from everything - beach, shopping, restaurants, train station and the Old Town. Love this place!!

Very relaxing time at "Ferragosto"

Bordighera is a laid-back, pleasant town at the Western Ligurian coast. The property is ideally located, everything is in walking distance, in particular the nice Lungomare boardwalk. The apartment is well-kept and part of a local neighborhood. Ideal if you want to feel like an Italian. The owner has a wealth of recommendations for the area. Overall a very nice stay.

Perfect location and very comfortable

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay at Casa Grandis very much The property is perfectly located close to the beach, the historic area and the many restaurants/stores that made our trip very convenient. The space is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It was lovely to have coffee/tea on the balcony in the morning, then wine or an Aperol spritz in the evening before heading out to one of the many delicious restaurants minutes away by foot. The air conditioning made it very comfortable to sleep and cool off from the summer sun. We would definitely stay here again and recommend Casa Grandis without reservation. The owner was very helpful and took her time to recommend many local restaurants and the check in/check out process was easy and Diana was very kind and punctual. Bordighera is a very beautiful and quaint gem of the Italian Riviera that offers all of the beauty with less crowds as some of the other places on the beaten path. We fell in love ❤️

Excellent location in a charming apartment!

I've stayed in a number of places in beautiful Bordighera over the years, and this apartment is simply lovely! First is location - close to the lungomare and the sea, to the great markets and shops, cafes and restaurants, the cinema, Bordighera Alta (the medieval gated city) and so many walks in the hills. Remarkably despite its central location, the apartment is very quiet and peaceful!Another highlight of Casa Grandis is the attention to detail in the apartment's furnishings. Windows and sunlight are everywhere in this airy, bright apartment. The main bedroom is large and comfortable with good quality linens, a beautiful view, and small desk by the window. A well-equipped kitchen is a pleasure to cook in and the dining table looks out on the hillside and terrace. Generous couches on which to recline make the kitchen a cozy retreat. The second bedroom, though small, has another wonderful view and fantastic breezes waft in through the window -- the fresh sea breezes of Bordighera are legendary! Meanwhile the bathroom is spacious and comfortable with a good shower and full size bathtub decorated in stunning period tiles. There is ample storage space in every part of the apartment. Finally, Cristina, the apartment's owner is an excellent host. The house has been part of her family for many years and is filled with love. Cristina kindly responds to questions, provides lots of local advice and knowledge is responsive to her guests. What a wonderful stay! I will be back!

Wonderful place

It was so great! The place is so clean, beautiful and spacious. We loved staying there and would be happy to return some day. It is close to the beach ( about 7 minutes) and to the train station. Cafes and merkato nearby. Everything was perfect.

Wir hatten zu zweit eine wunderbare Woche in Bordighera in der sehr schönen Wohnung von Christina. Alles war wie beschrieben. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und es fehlte an nichts. Die Lage ist zentral, aber trotzdem sehr ruhig. Johanna hat uns sehr freundlich in Empfang genommen. Die Kommunikation mit Christina war sehr herzlich und wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Wir (2 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder) hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnung Casa Grandis. Die Lage ist wirklich ideal – nur ca. 6 Minuten zu Fuß zum Meer – und die Wohnung war sauber und gut ausgestattet (8/10). Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin lief ausschließlich per WhatsApp, sie war sehr freundlich und hat fast immer sofort geantwortet.Ein paar Punkte sollte man jedoch im Vorfeld wissen:•Es gibt keinen eigenen Parkplatz, obwohl dies angegeben ist. Einen Platz auf der Straße zu finden, war teilweise schwierig.•Bettwäsche und Handtücher kosten eigentlich extra, wurden uns aber auf unsere Nachfrage hin sehr freundlich kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt.•Strom und Wasser sind nicht im Preis enthalten.Trotz dieser Punkte haben wir die Zeit in der Casa Grandis sehr genossen und können die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen – besonders wegen der tollen Lage und der schnellen Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin.

Era fantastico

Wir (2 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder) waren im Juli 2023 für 2 Wochen zu Besuch. Sehr netter und sympathischer Kontakt. Angefangen von offen Fragen im Vorfeld bis hin zum Check-in. Die Lage ist zentral aber sehr ruhig. Strand und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind wunderbar zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Wohnung ist mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Wir kommen gern wieder… Danke Cristina für den herzlichen Empfang

Just perfect

The apartment is identical to the photographs. Nicer, really. The main bedroom is a dream. Spacious and airy, with excellent bedding and lots of space for your clothes. The living room is lovely, and sports a very well-equipped kitchen, complete with tons of utensils, crockery and a dishwasher. It opens onto a nice balcony / terrace wide enough for 2 ppl to have breakfast. My favorite room may have been the bathroom, though. Most beautiful tiles ever. The washing machine works perfectly. The whole place is so clean you could eat on the floor - Thanks again, Cristina ! Cristina welcomed me with a huge smile and every explanation I could need. There is an elevator to the 2nd floor. The neighborhood is very elegant and safe. And convenient : 5 min from the beaches, 5 min from the old town, and a stone's throw away from a really nice hiking trail. It was just the perfect place for a two weeks holiday, my 1st break in 3 years. Recommendations around the house : Corte, the ice cream place at the crossroads down the street is the best in town. While I tried all manners of restaurants, fashionable and not, I never ate better than at Il Cappero, an unassuming place that does the best grilled calamari on the coast and arguably the best pizzas in Italy. On the seaside, the Paloma 2 offers really unpleasant service unless you're Italian, but the food is top notch. Also, their sea beds are cheap. Anyway, I couldn't recommend this place highly enough. Had a gorgeous time.

Eine wunderschöne Ferienwohnung

Wir waren zwei Wochen in Bordighera und haben den Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnung sehr genossen. Absolut saubere Wohnung, sehr gut ausgestattet und tolles Ambiente. Wir sind nett empfangen worden, und bei unserem Sonderwunsch nach einer Garage ist man noch am ersten Tag erfolgreich auf die Suche gegangen. Vielen Dank nochmals dafür. Jederzeit wieder. Macht weiter so.

Ottima soluzione

Abbiamo soggiornato per un mese in Casa Grandis. Il soggiorno e' stato perfetto. La casa e' pulitissima e attrezzatissima e l'ottima connessione internet mi ha permesso di alternare giorni lavorativi a giorni di vacanza. La posizione e' ottima, vicina a tutti i servizi, alla stazione e alla spiaggia. La doppia esposizione consente un'ottima ventilazione, permettendo di avere la casa fresca anche nei giorni piu' torridi (mai accesa aria condizionata). Spero di poter soggiornare ancora in futuro in casa Grandis!!

Wohlfühloase

Wir haben es sehr genossen und sehr wohl gefühlt, in dieser wunderschönen und geschmackvoll eingerichteten Wohnung. Nur 2 Minuten zu Fuss an der Ladenstrasse und 5 Minuten zu Fuss am Strand. Ich kann diese Wohnung sehr empfehlen.

Un bel soggiorno in riviera ligure

Perfetta location per il mare e il centro Alloggio confortevole con AC ottima , molto luminoso, immerso nel verde. C’è anche lavatrice e lavastoviglie. Manca bollitore, forno microonde e spreagrumi Molta cura nei dettagli della casa.

L’appartamento è vicino al centro , a tutti i negozi , al mercato e al supermercato . Con soli 5 minuti a piedi si raggiunge la Passeggiata con titti gli stabilimenti balneari . Al suo interno tutti i confort per una vacanza in famiglia .

Sehr zu empfehlen - die Wohnung als auch Bordighera

Uns erwartete eine sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung mit allem Komfort und auch die Betten waren sehr gut und wir haben wunderbar geschlafen. Wir fühlten uns rundum wohl. Bis zum Steinstrand, den Restaurants sowie Geschäften ist es nur ein kurzer Fußmarsch. Die Wohnung ist zwar für max. 6 Personen ausgeschrieben, das würde ich aber nicht empfehlen - max. 4 Personen. Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt war / ist die Möblierung des Balkons. Momentan ist sie nur für 2 Personen ausgerichtet. Ansonsten ist die Unterkunft sehr zu empfehlen. 😊👍
