Nice place
Relatively new facility, very clean and modern. However, no room safe, breakfast was a bit too continental (cereals and skýr with a tiny bit of meat and cheese), and no luggage racks. It's on a gravel road with little around it and 30 minutes from Borgarnes. If the sky is clear in aurora season, it could be great for viewing.

Is a quaint little motel way out in what seems the middle of nowhere. The roads to get there are rough gravel for much of it. But once there, was very nice. Rooms comfortable, staff helpful and friendly. Had a great hot tub out back. Only drawback is they don’t serve breakfast until 8:00 so being so far out, you get a late start to your day. But on the whole, was great!

Very beautiful and peaceful location. Room was excellent, the breakfast very good and plentiful. Staff were friendly and helpful. It may be off the beaten path, but it is well worth it!

1. The view is stunning. That in itself made this place on of our favorite places to stay while in Iceland 2. The room is very nice with a TV that you can log onto any streaming service. Free wifi! No microwave or fridge, but there is a electric kettle. 3. Dinner was available onsite in a beautiful eating area. Bit on the expensive side, but good nonetheless. You likely need to make a reservation (we did ours upon checkin). 4. Breakfast included! Overall, lovely place. Would highly recommend if visiting the west peninsula and then the golden circle. FYI gravel roads to and from the hotel for several kilometers, so be prepared.

Hidden gem
Let me say first, when driving to this hotel, you will feel like you're lost. It's located on a remote, gravel road. However, your GPS has not steered you wrong and it will pop up right where it should. When you get there, this hotel is amazing. The staff was friendly and the room was so comfortable. There were lovely photos on the wall and the beds and pillows were soft and fluffy. The bathroom had a great shower and heated towel rack. Our favorite feature was the natural hot spring behind the hotel. The staff gave us robes and offered crocs to wear out (we had our own water shoes). The hot springs was in a great stone pool with amazing views of the surrounding landscape. We loved this hotel and would absolutely return.

Would go again
The hotel was great. Though it was a little drive to the interior of Iceland or so it felt. Maybe 5ish miles. Farms very spaced apart. Had it not been storming we may have seen the northern lights, but weather had different ideas. Would like to see the countryside in better weather. Couldn't notice any winds blowing from inside and it was howling out.

We made a last-minute reservation and ended up with two twin beds. The beds were very narrow (even for twins) and neither of us got good quality sleep that night. It's a pity because the hotel is top-notch on all other counts.

The beds at our hotel are a very common hotel and domestic bed size here in Iceland (Length 2m/6.56 feet and width 90cm/35.4 inch). Perfect stay
We love the location, very quiet and facing the valley. The lounge is very comfy to have a drink and food or chat. We particular like the hotel is very close to the famous wild hot pot with drive 5 minutes. The service was very good and facility are new.

Hôtel parfait et hôtes merveilleux ! 👌😍
Hôtel quelques peu excentré mais idéal pour se resourcer et profiter d'une vue a couper le soufle. Petit déjeuner de qualité avec une vue incroyable. Accueillis chaleureusement, de plus les hôtes étaient a l'écoute, disponibles pour ravir leur clientèle. Cela fait vraiment plaisir. L'hotel est désigné par le propriétaire et très joli. La chambre est spacieuce avec une vue dégagée sur les plaines et montagnes.. Rapport qualité/prix incroyable pour l'Islande 80 euros avec petit déjeuner. Rien a redire. Merci pour ce bon moment. Allez y les yeux fermés ! Je vous le recommande vraiment, vous ne serezpas déçu ! TAK
