The Riserva Naturale Regionale e Oasi WWF dei Ghirardi nature reserve lies at an altitude of 600-700 metres, nestled in the mountains of the Apennines between the regions of Tuscany, Liguria and Emilia Romagna. The beauty of the 600-hectare nature reserve with its hills, forests and fields is impressive. The tranquillity and seclusion of Ghirardi invite you to go hiking. There are also day trips to the surrounding mountains, the Ligurian coast and numerous towns full of sights. The nature reserve can be reached by car via a 3-5 km long dirt track, which is reserved for guests and closed to the public. On request, the contact persons can prepare culinary specialities or provide local organic products (bread, pizza, cakes, eggs, vegetables, fruit, wine, oil, jam, etc.). Note: The house is reached via a gravel road of 3-5 km, which is not suitable for low sports cars.
