Wanted to use it for relaxing in the evenings but staff wanted to shut down sauna and steam rooms about 45 minutes before the scheduled closing times. There was no 'relaxing area' to use between using the sauna and steam rooms. "

"Ample parking, the room was comfortable and clean, although there were insufficient plug sockets. The staff were friendly and helpful, and service was excellent. An ideal hotel for weekend sporting events as breakfast is served from 7am. "

"I would describe the stay as travelodge level rooms- fairly basic. Probably a 2-3 star stat. Standard of cleanliness isn’t great- the room had a faint smell of damp or urines. The mugs in the room were also dirty The facilities were surprisingly impressive- a good sized pool and proper gym. We stayed here and spent the first day in Portsmouth and the second day in Chichester. It’s a good and accessible location."

"We recently stayed for 2 nights Friday-Sunday as we were attending a family wedding on Saturday. Checked in to the hotel at 8.50 and had a dinner reservation at 9. Upon going to our room at about 11 we noticed a letter from the hotel on the bed. Apparently their new policy is not to service the room for stays of more than one night unless they are asked. However you have to let them know by 10 the night before. As we were an hour late I telephoned reception but there was no answer. The following morning before breakfast we went to reception to ask for our room to be serviced sometime that day. We explained that we would be out from midday to midnight.
