Great stay walking distance to everything

We had a great stay. The bedrooms were good sizes and there were separate dining and living room areas. Having on site parking was great too but we barely used our car because you can walk to almost all of the local attractions and restaurants.

Awesome place for a witchy stay!

We had so much fun and had everything we needed for this stay! The location is great for walking or cheap rides into town. The decor is perfect for a witchy theme!

Perfect for a girls trip weekend

As soon as we entered, we immediately noticed how clean it smelled and looked in the apartment and we really appreciated the little touches that was left such as games to play and popcorn cups left for the four of us. The location is great and the decorations around the apartment were an amazing added touch!

Loved staying here. It was clean, easy to enter, easy to check-out, and close to everything we wanted to do. We'd definitely stay here again. Plus, the communication with the property owners/managers was beyond expectations, very responsive, and supportive during the stay.

Great place!

A very nice stay. Very well organized and avoid location. Beds allow a great sleep. If you might not like small bathrooms and a neighbour you can hear walking on the upper level you might consider another place but we did really like the place.

Girls Getaway

We had a lovely time visiting Salem and this was a great location to all of the fun activities, the property manager was very attentive and the sleeping space worked out nice for our group. Bathrooms were small but it was nice to have multiple :)

The absolute best communication from the host, they were quick to respond and very helpful. Nice park a very short walk away for the kids. Would definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Cozy, cute , and witchy

Very cute, clean, and comfortable flat. Close to downtown Salem for restaurants, activities, and shopping. Great little bakery and coffee shop around the corner. We enjoyed watching movies at night on the big TV. Owners were very nice and accommodating. We had a great time. Would stay there again.

Great Salem Stay

The property is well furnished and has great Salem decorations. The location is about a 15-20 minute walk to Essex St or around $8 for Uber/Lyft. There is a great bakery just down the street and a Dunkin a little further (we preferred the bakery). The host were great with communication!

Very fun!

We truly enjoyed our stay. The attention to detail in the apartment was spot on. The house were great to communicate with. We ended up walking to all of the attractions. We wanted to see it was much easier than driving and parking.

Great stay

The unit worked well for our family of four adults and two children. The kids played in the nice park down the street one morning. It was a short drive to the center of Salem. The parking was a little tight but normal for Salem. The owner was in touch regularly to be sure we had everything we needed. Thank you for a great stay!

Great location!

5 stars! The location was perfect for us - close to downtown, walking distance. We drove up to Gloucester one day for whale watching (which was incredible!) and also went to the beach. It was an easy walk to the train station that took us right into Boston. The property had all the amenities we needed for the three nights we were there. Cutely decorated and the hospitality was great. Agree with the comments on tight parking but we did have a mini van which made it easy for the kids to get in and out. Would recommend this location for anyone visiting the Salem/Boston area.

My friends and I had a fabulous time staying here. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into the place. Great Location, Lovely Property

We loved this adorably decorated, clean property. Luckily we had nice weather and Salem is a walkable town, so we often walked in to dine out and visit the shops since parking was difficult to find. Other reviews mentioned the narrowness of the driveway and the pole on the street at the end of the driveway; we had two sizable SUVs and didn’t have any issues. The kitchen is a good size and we enjoyed the coffee bar, plus the coffee shop just a block or so away. Bedrooms are a great size, too. As noted, bathrooms are a little tight but it was nice having two to use. Overall, we were very happy with the property, a little gem in a great location. We would stay here again!

Great trip

Overall great stay, my daughters loved the decor and little Halloween fun! Pros: close to Salem attractions, communication was very clear, spooky decor, and house was clean. Cons which are completely out of the owners control: house is very small, bathrooms are a tight fit, driveway also snug with pole at end of driveway (we were able to fit RAV4 Toyota beside it but anything bigger might be hard), and footsteps from upstairs (adult & pet or child). It is an older home so those things are to be expected. The owners were very responsive and you can tell they take care of their home. We appreciate the sharing of their home!

Great stay

I stayed 2 nights by myself. I was visiting Salem for a family bachelorette party. The house is within walking distance to pretty much everything. I didn't need or want to use my car. The communication was great; I got emails and text message reminders, which was nice. Check in and out were easy. There's a playground and basketball court down the street near the water (I didn't use either), but it's nice to know that for the future if I ever come back to stay with my family!

You don’t wanna miss out on this rental!!

Spacious two bedroom, first floor apartment all to yourself, ideal location close to coffee shops, bakery, and local attractions. Literally feet from the beach. Everything needed was provided. Beds are firm yet surprisingly comfortable. Two bathrooms with great water pressure. The witch theme is so cute especially for the area. Very, very clean and comfortable. Great communication and fast responses from hosts. We loved it and will be back!! A++++

First time in Salem

Home has curb appeal. Very clean inside with everything feeling like it's new. There are two bathrooms! We were 3 adults staying there. It's slightly off the beaten path but that's what we liked about it. Much quiet than being downtown. We rented blue bikes and rode out to Winter Island and around Salem City; quite nice. Also,I have to recommend the coffee and donut store nearby. The host was very accommodating about leaving our bags in the hallway before and after checkout.

Tiny but Terrific

This place was perfect for our group. It was super easy to get to and from and had a lovely little park down the street. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The bathrooms are tiny but clean and very much sufficient. The only thing I found challenging about it was the parking situation. Larger vehicles don’t really fit the location at all, so if you have a larger vehicle, parking might be a struggle. In fairness, that’s kind of true everywhere in Salem. It was not a town built with them in mind.😁

Convenient spot

Pros: - Location - easy to walk to most places - cleanliness - very clean - comfortable beds - quiet street - the water was hot and water pressure good Cons: - told from the get go to be quiet and respect the upstairs tenants. However the upstairs tenants included a child and a dog who would frequently run up & down the length of the apartment. There was heavy footfall from the apartment above. - the kitchen could have been better equipped for cooking & eating in. There were a lot of empty cupboards and the bare minimum of cooking equipment. - the plates and bowls were plastic and there was only one serving/salad bowl.

Met most of our needs.

This was our annual fall couples getaway and the apartment worked. Pros - the beds are super comfortable, full kitchen, dining room table worked for 4 adults, clean and location was walkable to downtown Salem. The communication was great. Cons - living room area is small, wifi was in and out and the bathrooms are SMALL. We were expecting small bathrooms because of other reviews but were not prepared for the actual size. Lol The one attached to the bedroom is workable but the one off the kitchen was impractical unless used by a child. Probably wouldn't stay again just because of the bathrooms.

2 nights in Salem

The home was beautifully decorated and, despite its small size, we found it comfortable for our two-night stay. The master bedroom and second bedroom were cozy, each equipped with air conditioning units in the windows, which was a relief during the hot weather. However, the bathrooms were quite small; my husband, who is 6'4" and over 200 lbs, found them uncomfortably tight. Caution is advised with the electrical outlets in the bedrooms as they were loose from the wall. While the location wasn't within walking distance to many attractions, a short drive was sufficient. The parking space, suitable only for a small car, was complicated by a electical pole at the end of it, which made navigating very difficult. All in all, we had a very nice stay. Salem is a lovely town full of history.
