Steps to beach, restaurants (e.g. the Clam Box), parks, and children’s play ground. Great place to walk, to jog, picnic or just lay down to get a suntan.

Open floor plan with newly renovated chief’s kitchen, new hardwood floor throughout the house and tasteful decorations. Easy access to Boston/places-of-interests: 9 mile to Downtown Boston via I-93; 1 mile to Wollaston Subway station with Red Line T to Boston, MIT and Harvard. Bus stop is one block away. Easy and quick access to the T. 4 minute drive. Beach right across the street. Easy to downtown, depending on the time of day. We would definitely stay there again!

Quincy near the beach

Comfortable large home. Quirky but fun, centrally located with a short ride to Boston proper or south to Plymouth or Cape Cod.

Boston Holiday Weekend

This was a perfect house for our annual holiday weekend. The house was clean, comfortable, and close to the T into Boston. When we arrived the table was set for 6, complete with wine glasses which was a nice touch. If you choose to cook the kitchen is fully stocked. There was also enough seating in the living room for all 6 of us, something we don't usually find in a rental. We were right across the street from the water and had a beautiful view of the sunrise and of Boston. We all agreed that we would stay here again.

Great location

This house is nicely situation across from the beach and within walking distance of several restaurants and a mile from the T. Kitchen is lovely and very functionable. Of the two bedrooms on the first floor, only one is private. The other doesn’t have a door. It wasn’t a problem but worth noting. We really enjoyed our stay.

View of the ocean

Everything was good. Small market 1/2 away, as well as a couple small cafes. The Only problem is "walk through bedrooms", to get to the second bedroom on both floors, which wouldn't be comfortable for every one.

Great group stay

We stayed here for a girls weekend, ranging from our 30s to our 70s...it was perfect for all of us. It is definitely a "beach house" which has a nice casual feel. Some of the bedrooms dont have privacy, but it was not an issue for us at all. The kitchen was well equipped which was great.

Boston convenient

This rental served us well. Some challenges due to arriving late night in a snow storm and with snow and ice, but owner was very responsive to get us shoveled out quickly on the 1st morning. Washing machine did not work but owner got it replaced in a day. Traffic and signals are a bit loud especially for the upstairs bedroom.Nice view of the bay and downtown skyline.Overall a good rental for convenient access in and out of Boston and the South Shore.

Spacious Stay on Wollaston Beach

This home is across the street from the central part of Wollaston Beach. Easy access to Boston via car, also T-Station is ~1 mile away with easy city access. Spacious - open concept: kitchen - dining room - living room -- There is a lot of room in the main family area. Kitchen is great - large island with seating. With the open concept it's useful for cooking, dining or laying out dishes for buffet style serving. Great stove / oven, advanced and roomy microwave, large refrigerator - coffee maker with pods, (I think a traditional pot, too). Lots of pots, pans, cooking utensils. Upstairs bedroom is massive, with a small bed outside that room. As mentioned by others, one of the bedrooms is a little 'open' and you have to go through it to get to another bedroom. There is a 4th bedroom available that is behind the main living area (extra charge) that we did not examine. Mud room/hallway for summertime beach sandiness. Owner very responsive. We were very satisfied.

Everything was perfect except: - noise coming from the boulevard can be hear in the room, specially upstairs - upstair’s bathroom was not cleaned properly upon our arrival (hair on wall, hair in sink and in shower..).

Close to everything

We had a great time with friends as we traveled from this lovely location to Salem, Boston and Newport. Were were able to return to a comfortable atmosphere each night to refresh and prepare for the next day. The house has a unique charm.

Nice home

The home was clean and nice. I hate to be critical of anything but the outside of the property was in desperate need of some maintenance. The back deck seemed nice but the weeds were way overgrown so there was no sitting on the deck and enjoying the outside. The inside of the home was great and had some nice updates to the kitchen and bathrooms. The view was fantastic and it was nice being across the street from the beach.

Unbelievable Find on the Beach!

It was a perfect fit for our large family of eight!! The area is perfect access to all sights Boston while providing a great hideaway for quiet evenings at the beach. The house was very well stocked. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Great location, plenty of space

The house is in a good location across from beach, depending on traffic could be 20 min from downtown Boston or 50+ min. There is a lot of space, has plenty of amenities that were needed. The upstairs bed rooms are odd with steep stairs. There is no door to the master bedroom from the living room so no privacy there. There are no closets so no where to hang clothing. The property needed some work outside, over grown weeds and grass, trash overflowing outside and no check in or check out instructions received. Never got an email from VRBO with instructions. Host said we could check in at 12 but place was not cleaned yet when we got there. Several small things need to be handled like the light in the bathroom had a blown fuse and would not come on at all, the upstairs shower will not drain. Overall we had a great time and it had plenty of space-not sure if I would chose it again for the price.

We had a wonderful stay for our family! The home is across the street from the beach which was incredible to be so close! The kitchen is a highlight as well, it is open, newer appliances, and has plenty of room! I recommend this to others!
