“Arbitrary charges Poor service attitude”

“I stayed here over the weekend for a convention being held at the hotel, CNY-Con. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the amenities (including the attached Beer Tree restaurant where we ate for breakfast, enjoyed drinks and Karaoke and picked up quick meals throughout the day) were excellent, and the location was safe and clean. 10/10 I will be re-booking another stay next summer for the same event.”

“The room smelled like someone peed in the corner and had little piles of insect debris under the window. The beds were comfy but made awful noises when you moved. The clerk at check in was not very informative. Breakfast selections were minimal and not appetizing. Giving this booking an overall "okay" rating is generous. We stayed in 4 different hotels along our vacation trip and this was by far the worst. Thankful it was only over night to get some rest and move on.”

“Historical building with lots of character, lobby fireplace was warming on a rainy day. The first floor lobby and dining rooms are very dark, great atmosphere but bring a little flashlight. Met a lot of nice people during our stay. The welcoming scotch was fantastic. We heard the breakfast was minimal. It was not, filled with all kinds of homemade apple strudel, mushroom quiche, chocolate pastries, many other delicious sweet muffins, etc.”

“It was all great except room 200, junior suite was very noisy from traffic. Can't close window do to AC unit. Staff friendly, clean property, good bed.”

“The room was clean, shower, staff, all very good. Unfortunately the whole building needs to get knocked down, and redone. Very old building.”

“Only it's isolation from other attractions, restaurants etc. is really a disadvantage. Cazenovia NY is about 30 minutes away and is a lovely village with many attractions.”

“I didn't like the fire alarm going off at 11am when you get in at 4 am and no warning what so ever! The manager lied and said they have no idea when the are coming to test the alarms I call bu You don't just test alarms that is poor management. Was only compensated 1 day when there mistake ruined 2 days! Never again unless management is replaced!”
