Many positives but a few things to consider

At the quieter end of Les Arcs 1800 but still only a 10 min walk into town. Apartment is a good size, has all you might need with good hanging space. Bathroom could do with a refurb; the shower is a hand held affair which not ideal.Plenty of room to sit, eat, play cards. Kitchen is small but functional. The only way to get air into the apartment is by leaving the balcony door open, no independent windows to the upstairs bedrooms. Lower floor is fine but upstairs is limited, anyone over 185 cms is going to have to bend their heads to move around. Staircase is also narrow.Charmettoger, the nearest lift involves a 10 minute climb up a snowy or icy slope. It's a pity there aren't steps. Skiing back is also for the confident, but it's an easy enough walk back to the building from the same spot.Generally this area has good access if you want to head across to La Plagne or use the Transarc lift to get to the higher areas above 1950. You can also ski back to close to the apartment directly from the Folie Douce.We had a major problem getting access to the apartment out of hours. I think the problem is unlikely to repeat itself, but best if you can arrive whilst the concierge service is still open. Linen service was excellent.We were just 3 and that's ideal, but it will accommodate 5 if you're ok with cosy.

Nous sommes partis skier entre amis pendant une semaine et nous avons passé un bon séjour dans cet appartement. L’hébergement est pratique et à 2 minutes à pied des pistes, donc idéalement situé.

Nice family apartment ideally situated for skiing

The apartment is well equipped. Everything needed to cook meals, make coffee, wash was present. The layout of the apartment was perfect - as the beds are upstairs, children can sleep upstairs and parents do not have to worry about disturbing them. The location of the building is ideal for skiing. The main lift is a 5 minute walk. You can ski directly to the entrance of the building when you return. There are two ski rental outlets in the building. There is bakery/restaurant/off-license in the back which has almost everything needed. We had a really nice ski break!

Bel appart bien situé pour des belles journées de ski

Appartement en duplex bien agréable de par sa situation sur le domaine . Bien équipé et joliment décoré il permet un repos douillet après les journées de ski. L’epicerie/pizza/boulangerie est un plus pour les croissants du matin. 2 loueurs de ski juste en bas de l’appart et un accès au télésiège rapide à pied. Retour a l'appart ski au pied. Proprietaires très serviables et agréables malgré qu’ils ne soient pas sur place.

Appartement très agréable, confortable, bien équipé. La déco typique montagne est sympa. Il est aussi très bien situé, au pied des pistes, au dessus d'une boulangerie et pas loin des commerces, bar, restos... Envoi et remise des clefs très faciles sans mauvaise surprise. Je recommande !

Un séjour très agréable par beau temps et bonne neige. L'appartement est accueillant, bien équipé, agréable. Contact facile avec madame Noël, clés et documents sont arrivés en temps, le contact local était à notre disposition et à notre heure pour l'inventaire. La réservation du parking effective. Retour trés rapide de la caution. Parfait. Pour un séjour en famille, nous avions loué 6 appartements dans l'imeuble, proches les uns des autres.
