「The gite was super clean with comfortable beds. A lot of thought has been put into the layout. I really appreciated that ventilation had been put into the kitchen and downstairs bedroom, meaning that damp wasn't an issue, as it can sometimes be in old properties. The garden is fantastic, with half shade, half sun and there is garden furniture for both eating and relaxing. One thing to note is that wi-fi isn't available in the gite itself. Wi-fi is available in the owners' hotel, next door. ...

Communication with René was incredibly efficient before and during our stay, including recommended restaurants and local events taking place during our stay. Location of the property is perfect for what we wanted - close to the centre of Avoine and it's facilities, but secluded and not overlooked. 「A very spacious property both inside and out. Very well equipped, and appearing to be further developed. Very good kitchen, bbq and outside areas and a rather quirky inside layout. Lots of space for families with children. We had an issue at one point and the owners, who are charming people, were very quick to respond and to try and sort things out. The pool, of course, is excellent, particularly as we had extremely hot weather.」

「We had a wonderful stay at the property in Montsoreau. The house had been beautifully renovated with everything we needed for a relaxing week away. We particularly enjoyed the small courtyard garden, which was a little sanctuary in the providing a cool place to eat our meals surrounded by the lovely plants. Glynn was a wonderful host and made us feel very welcomed and also providing helpful local advice. Thank you for an enjoyable stay and we will definitely be back!」
