Der Check-in war unkompliziert, und zur Begrüßung gab es fürs Geburtstagskind sogar einen Blumenstrauß :-). Und dann das Haus: schöne Zimmer, gute Betten, die Bäder gut in Schuss, und unten ein supergemütliches Wohnzimmer mit Kaminofen und genug Platz für alle. Die...

"We had a great week here in August. Large garden, lots of parking and many beaches within 30 minutes. You can walk into town along the river to get bread in the morning. The staircase to the upper floor begins in the master bedroom; we didn't mind this but some might. The owners live nearby and were very helpful. I would describe the style as shabby chic."

"Clean and well-equipped for a family vacation. Located in a quiet, charming village close to Strasbourg (about 35 minutes from the park and ride). The village restaurant, within walking distance from the property, was also a great place to eat (note: closed on Mondays and Tuesdays). The host was helpful and knowledgeable about the area."

"Just returned from a wonderful stay at Chez Mathilde near Verdun. Annie, our host, was absolutely lovely — so welcoming and friendly, and she even treated us to delicious homemade goodies. The house itself was amazing, full of character with beautiful traditional features and immaculate furnishings throughout. It really felt like a home away from home. The area is fantastic too, with so much history to explore, especially the WWI sites nearby. We’d highly recommend Chez Mathilde to anyone...
