This is the 2nd time my wife I stayed here, and the property and location couldn't be more magical! This 2nd time was our official honeymoon trip, and got to watch a pair of bald eagles be at home, right in the cove next to this cabin. Absolutely amazing and will always go back. Thanks again!!
Great location. Spectacular views. House is comfortable & well-appointed, though living room furniture is a little worn. Minor issues with the keypad. Took more tries than necessary to get it to work each time. Instructions for TV remotes and fireplace would have been helpful. Again, minor issues. Overall a great cabin.
Nice views, lots of wildlife. Overall the place was clean, but they have a major ant problem. Many dead ants inside and still plenty alive. No seating for outside, bring your own.
Lovely scenery at river front. Quiet. Home access was very difficult with pot holed road and steep entry. Nice kitchen but dishwasher did not work. Fireplace did not work either. Overall, the holiday went well.

Beautiful but clarity needed
Wonderful property on the water. Beautiful views. Private but close enough to essentials and plenty of sight seeing/activities.
The canoe on site still has at least one of the same holes mentioned in a review a year ago. Only one person can use it or you will sink. I did not want to be the one.
Picture shows boats on dock, but there is nothing on the property you can use. Should be very clear in the listing.
I did find a nice, reasonably priced rental facility about 15 minutes away. Seaspray Kayaking and Paddle in Brunswick.
We would stay again, but make sure we have a good vehicle to transport kayaks.
We rented this property for three nights. We chose it due to the water view and it’s proximity to Augusta as my husband was racing in the 70.3 Ironman. The house was very clean and the kitchen was fully stocked with all the kitchen appliances, pots and pans that we needed. The view was absolutely beautiful and we took full advantage of the fire pit and dock access. The property management team was very thorough and sent updates about early check in being available which was an added bonus. This was our first VRBO rental and they made it very smooth!
Our only complaint was the water pressure. It was so bad it made it difficult to shower or do dishes. With that being said I wouldn’t hesitate to book this property again for a short stay but would not recommend six people staying here.

Greay view but old and needs updating
Pros- you cannot beat the views of this cabin. It's located near many lakes and rivers. The place was clean and tidy and supplied laundry pods.
Cons- very small for our party of 6. Theres a dock but no fishing gear, a kayak but no paddles. The fireplace is broken, the dishwasher was broken, despite being included in the description. I reached out to the property owners day one regaridng broken equipment and they didnt get back to me until after check out.
Bottom line- stop at a walmart and get fishing gear, kayak paddles, and i would suggest 4 people or less.

Lovely small home
Very clean, had all of the amenities, and views out of the windows onto the bay were spectacular.

Second time here, such a calming retreat. We enjoy the many hiking trails nearby and exploring the local towns and chatting with the people.
We will be back for a third time!
We loved our stay at the cottage. One morning, we saw an eagle swoop down to catch a fish and saw two seals swimming by. The kitchen had everything we needed. The water pressure in the shower was very low, but hopefully that will get fixed soon.
We loved the cabin. The view is spectacular (we saw 3 bald eagles), the cabin itself is very modern and has very good air conditioning. It was quite warm during our stay, so it was great to have a cool refuge. We loved the proximity to places of interest like Bath, Boothbay Harbor and others. Go to the Sea Dog Brewery in Topsham for some great food, and amazing scenery. One of our favorite meals was at Three Robbers Pub just a few minutes away in Bowdoinham. We had a lovely week at the house and in Maine. Note: the dishwasher is out of service and the grill (charcoal) should be replaced, but these were minor inconveniences for us.

The place is unlike any other. Views change literally every half hour, the colors over the bay, the tides changing, the loons, cormorants, and the bald eagles fishing. And the dawns are heavenly. My favorite place on earth
