「We had an amazing stay with family. The view of the water on one side and the bucolic field with horses on the other is an incredible combination. Just moments from Colonial Beach and a short drive to other nearby towns, this place was perfect for us. We’ll certainly be coming back the very next chance we get!」

A wonderful doc area for hanging out and fishing. The kitchen had everything you need to cook. There’s also a playroom detached from the house that was also fun to use. We’d stay there again!」

「This is a nice, older large house on the lake. It was a good location, right on the lake, and there were enough canoes and floats for the kids to use, with spare life jackets. Our only gripe was that the kitchen was not well-equipped. There were no pots and the pans, knives cookware was really old and unusable. So much so that we went to the local store and bought two pots and a frying pan for our use. One of the upstairs bedrooms did not have any side tables. Where do you put your water glass...

「We loved our stay at this house. It was clean, and was comfortable for our family. The dock was great for fishing. The kayaks were nice to have. One big problem was the arcade game machine did not work like it did last year when we stayed here. I messaged the manager through VRBO but didn't hear back. Our kids were disappointed. Even though we encourage them not to play video games, they really loved it last year and we wanted to come back this year. If it is advertised on VRBO, then steps...

「Right off the highway, comfortable, safe and clean! The only minor issue was the door to the courtyard closes with a loud CLUNK, and my unit was right above it. Know you need to contact the office if you're arriving after 7pm; they will text you lockbox info to get your key. Will stay here again!」

「Everything was so smooth, from the check in to check out. We really enjoyed the beautiful water views and the hot tub! I wish the indoor pool was open a little later, but the kids were able to get in an hour of swimming before it closed. The cabin was well stocked with all essentials and was clean and cozy! We will be back for sure! 」
