Great location for visiting local area and for walks.

We stayed two nights and enjoyed the lovely home with lots of options. Kitchen facilities are good. Backyard and outdoor areas great. Secure fence for our well behaved dog was a bonus.

Perfect Winter Weekend!

Perfect home for hubby, myself, our adult and teen kids and our fur baby, Jazz. The home was spacious, beautifully decorated and had every comfort we could possibly want. We played, pool, darts and made great use of the kitchen and butler pantry. A short drive to Bowral and wineries. In short, we loved it and will be back!!

Amber Cottage far exceeded all our expectations. It was perfect in every way - Decor, amenities, cleanliness, lay-out, facilities, everything. It was perfect for our visit of 7 adults.We were celebrating our combined 60th birthdays with our adult children and everyone was so comfortable and enjoyed the stay. Fantastic for friends and family

This was a great place to stay. The property managers were really quick to respond and helpful. The house was great, with activities for both adults and children. Highly recommend this for anyone looking to stay in the Highlands region.

Perfect house for morning of wedding

I booked this house for my bridal party and I to stay at and get ready the morning of my wedding. It was perfect - the house was spacious, bright, modern and had everything we needed. The photos don’t do it justice!

An elegant cottage

Amber cottage is an impressive, elegant home away from home. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Bowral and at the cottage. The home if beautifully furnished and everything you could possible need is supplied in the kitchen, bathroom and laundry. My husband and son really enjoyed playing pool in the converted garage. This cottage is a peaceful, happy place to stay and I loved my daily 30 minute walks into the town.

Beautiful House

We had a wonderful stay at Amber Cottage. 8 friends and a baby went away for Xmas in June and it was perfectly sized for our 2 night stay. The kitchen was fully equipped and everyone had a bed (no sleeping on sofa-beds or lounges). The house was extremely clean, lovely linen and towels and plenty of rugs around the house for if we got cold, albeit the central heating was great. Unfortunately we didn't get to use the outside area but the space looked great too. Thank you for offering such a well presented, welcoming home - we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Amber Cottage.

The property was lovely and clean. Well thought out re set up and thoughtful provisions available. The only potential for improvement was the smell. There seemed to be an off smell throughout. Possibly a dead rodent under the floor boards. Otherwise it was absolutely lovely.

A lovely house

The house is great and it isn't far from the main area of Bowral. The warnings about potential fines for noise made me nervous but we had no issues in the end.

Weekend wedding

We were so happy with the cleanliness, interior decorating, comfortable beds and sofa. The kitchen was well equipped and all detergent, cleaning supplies and toilet paper were abundant. We were happy with our stay at this property. The pool table and trampoline was a big hit with the kids. Garage door and washing machine need servicing. Thank you to the owners for a wonderful stay and early check in was appreciated to prepare for the wedding.
