The well appointed 'Hamptons' style home has everything you need. The 5 bedroom house including the separate guest cottage accommodates 12 and is a rare find with 3 wonderful indoor entertaining areas, an inviting sun-room, a French provincial kitchen and warm sun-drenched outdoor areas. The main house sleeps 8 and the guest house sleeps up to 4. Perfect for place for group getaways or wedding accommodation.

‘Bowral Escape’ is just 1km away from Bowral Town where you'll find restaurants, cafes, pubs, specialty stores, supermarkets, gourmet grocers and the local train station. So you have the choice of eating out or bringing the best of the Southern Highlands to you to enjoy in your home for the weekend.
The owners will happily recommend local favourites.

The main house has both gas fire place and reverse cycle air conditioning to ensure that you enjoy the comfort in the house either in winter or summer. The studio also has reversed cycle air cond.

Gently tucked away down a long private driveway, this ‘Hamptons style’ home is family friendly, with large flat lawns perfect for kids to run about on (with easy supervision through the large kitchen windows!).

Main House features include:

- Main living area has beautiful wooden floors with comfortable leather sofas to laze around the gas log fireplace.
- Second living area features 11ft high ceilings and bi-fold doors opening out to private gardens and a 60cm Smart 4K HD TV for you to enjoy
- French provincial inspired dining area & kitchen with marble benchtops and Smeg & Miele appliances
- Large rear alfresco courtyard
- A relaxing front verandah with outdoor furniture, overlooking the beautiful garden.
- Beautiful Natural Timber dining that sits 12 comfortably.
- 4 bedrooms with built-in wardrobes, master bedroom and with ensuite
- 2.5 bathrooms, one bathroom with bathtub to help relax and unwind
- Sun Drench top balcony adjoining two rooms.

Separate to the main house, this guest cottage provides an additional retreat.

Excellent Experience

We had an excellent stay at this great property - communication with the Property Manager was great and responsive and ever helpful. The house was used for a Wedding Preparatory place for the Groom and had lots of space for the Groomsmen and was a stones throw from the Bowral shops which was hugely convenient. We really recommend a look at this property as the gardens were also great for Wedding Photos for the big day.

The owners are so easy to communicate with and the instructions they left out were very easy to follow. The location of the house was also only 5mins away from the CBD and the house itself was stunning and perfect. We used this place as a "wedding getting ready home", but my whole family can't wait to come back soon just to holiday.

Even better than expected

We had high expectations of Bowral Escape and the property exceeded all of them. The house and grounds are beautiful, the rooms cozy and the kitchen well stocked for cooking for large groups. We had 8 adults and an infant and always felt there was more than enough space. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing getaway.

Bowral's Hidden Gem

We absolutely loved our stay here. The property is lush with greenery so it feels completely secluded. There's a number of living spaces so every get-together feels fresh. The kitchen is well-stocked. There's internet and a TV for movie night. And it's just a few minutes from the town if you need a quick Woolies trip.

Perfect southern highlands escape!

This property was perfect for our group of 10, secluded but had everything we needed. The kitchen was perfect for catering for a big group (huge oven!) and the living spaces were cosy without being cramped. Can't recommend highly enough for a trip out of town, Kathleen was an excellent host who was always on hand to answer questions regarding the property and amenities. Thank you so much!

Weekend in Burradoo

We had a wonderful weekend staying here. We, the parents in our adult family group, stayed in the cute cottage next to the main house. Apart from the temporarily stuck sliding door to en-suite it was great. Very comfy beds. Lovely decor. Warm and cosy in main house with gas fire. Unfortunately no fire guard so we did not use much, to ensure 16 month old did not touch fire. The wisteria in front pergola was in full bloom, making a very relaxing spot to sit and take in the pretty garden. Thank you to our host for providing this incredible property.
