The Hen's Den offers a romantic getaway for couples in an immaculate studio with kitchenette and ensuite. Located in the picturesque town of the Southern Highlands the studio is private and comfortable, and is a perfect base for those wanting to escape to the country and enjoy all that the Southern Highlands has to offer. Throughout the surrounding villages of Bowral, Berrima, Mittagong, Robertson and Burrawang you can enjoy fine restaurants and cafes, shopping, hiking trails or walking trails that lead you to beautiful waterfalls. The Hen's Den is a perfect couples getaway, or ideal for one adult and one child.

Where will I be?

The Hen's Den is conveniently located in Moss Vale, just 10 minutes from the main street of Bowral and close by to The What If Society cafe. Moss Vale is where you can find cafes, restaurants and shops.

The Hen's Den is comfortable and affordable with a king bed with electric blankets and luxury linen. Whether you are visiting the Southern Highlands for a wedding or just to enjoy the area, the Hen's Den will give you the perfect base for your needs.

How is the property laid out?

The Hen's Den is a single room studio with kitchenette and ensuite (shower and toilet) and TV. The bed is king size, and the studio has a small kitchenette with kettle and sink.

WiFi, Internet, Netflix, or Pay TV - will I have it?

Complimentary WiFi is available and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email. The property also has a smart TV. Please bring your own login details for streaming services.

Please note however that neither The Holidays Collection nor the owner can guarantee 100% that the WiFi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic.

If Wi-Fi is important, please therefore always have a back up plan.

What about outdoors?

The Hen's Den is nestled within the gardens of a private home, yet totally separate and private.

Stay warm or keeping cool?

The Hen's Den has a stand-alone heater and a fan.

What about sheets, towels and other supplies?

The Hen's Den supplies linen and bath towels.

Parking for cars, boats, etc?

Parking at the Hen's Den is street parking only.

Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?

Unfortunately, The Hen's Den is not pet friendly.

What are the minimum stay rules?

- Peak Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights

Are there any special Peak Season rules?

Please note that during Peak Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
