We loved the house! It was perfect for us! Our kids love nature, so having access to the community pond was very fun for them. This is shared by all the homes around the area. There are many turtles, bass, and bluegill in the pond. They are used to being fed bread and will follow you along the shore. There is a shared paddle boat, which the kids also had fun with. Swimming is allowed but the area is a little weedy. The beds were not the most comfortable, but were fine for the trip. We loved the hot tub! We did not use the firepit, but it was very nice! The air conditioning is SUPER cold, so if you run hot in the summer, you will love it. The home is about 1 hour to Traverse City or the bridge, so a great location to see several sites in Northern MI from a central home base. I was so appreciative that they allowed our dog. He also had a blast! HIGHLY recommend! :)
