“Pros: beautiful historic building, friendly wait staff, reasonably priced and tasty breakfast, relaxing atmosphere in bar with pleasant live music Wednesday evenings, cozy fireplaces in the lobby and beautiful library. Cons: although a known issue on check in, the fact there was no hot water in our room wasn’t disclosed. We were only staying one night. But another couple stayed two and had the same problem both nights. No compensation was offered, although I notified them upon check out. In……

“One of the best cottages in the Rustico/ Cavendish area! The two bedrooms are perfect for a family and the cottage is spacious with beautiful views. Nice that there's a playground and beautiful path to the water and an outdoor pool and hot tub. Cottage #1 is closest to the road and does get traffic noise but think the higher number cottages are probably very quiet. ”

“Easy to get to tourist areas & downtown, reception was friendly & helpful from where to eat, how to get u-ride drivers when we needed, we axtually extended out stay an extra day before going back to Halifax. Hats off to Kerstine, she went over & above to make our stay great. ”

“The cabin kitchen had everything we could ask for, including coffee, filters and even a lobster pot. The spa area was luxurious with massaging jets in hot tub, steam sauna, and cold water rinse bucket! My daughter loved the pickle ball courts. Every interaction with staff was gracious and helpful.
