“We had a wonderful stay at this quaint and quiet tiny house in Bar Harbor. The accommodations were exactly as described—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged. Although we did not use the fire pit, that would be a nice addition to the cool Fall night. The sleeping arrangements were comfortable, and the hot shower was a welcome treat after a day of exploring Acadia. It was the perfect peaceful retreat and just what we were hoping for. Highly recommend!”

“Our stay at the James House was very relaxing. We had 3 generations and comfortably housed 7 of us. The layout was great, the kitchen was well stocked and the fishing on Chemo Lake was unmatched. We rented a pontoon boat from Josh as well and that process was smooth and seemed, allowing us to fish, tube and explore the lake daily. I would highly recommend. If you are not an early riser, I would be aware that there is a landscaping company located directly across the road from the house which did……

“This was a cozy little cabin perfectly situated in the woods. Mornings were peaceful and evenings were tranquil. We slept with the windows open most nights and listened to the sounds of the forest around us, no white noise machine needed!The cabin itself is outfitted with everything you need for an extended stay, only personal toiletries needed. There's brochures for local things to do and places to each, which was a nice touch. We stayed with our two year old, bringing her pack and play, and……

“Cute 3 bedroom cottage within a reasonable driving distance to so many places, including Penobscot & Acadia. Rebekkah has a nice book with information about the local area & Moo Moos Pub was so close for good meals. Numberous little touches, like fresh coffree beans, snacks, etc., made us feel welcome.”

“My family wanted a peaceful Maine vacation on a pond. We were very blessed to have found the perfect cottage with the most amazing views overlooking the water. The cottage itself was extremely clean, very well stocked, decorated beautifully, and had so many amenities, including a dishwasher and air conditioning - both a rarity in a Maine cottage. The hosts were kind and very gracious. Given the chance, my family and I would not hesitate to rent again next year. ”
