“We spent two nights here and the views were spectacular. It was very quiet for sleeping and the beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were good. The overall feel of the house is old fashioned but it is extremely clean. The living room couches were uncomfortable. The complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch. Our biggest complaint was the driveway was narrow with a steep drop off on the side. It was nerve wracking to drive it. Interesting stay in a very sleepy town in the Duoro Valley. ”

“Our apartment was very modern but the property still has a very historic and, especially, authentic country feel. Very much appreciated the wood stove at that time of year. Only critique was lack of any American TV. While we don't particularly travel to Portugal to watch TV, when we stay in country places at this time year we don't relish driving after dark. Next time we'll know to have our tablet ready for movies.”
